About Anderson

As host and Executive Producer of the upcoming nationally syndicated, daily one-hour talk show, "Anderson," Anderson Cooper brings his passionate voice and unique ability as a storyteller to daytime television.

Cooper's book, "Dispatches from the Edge," topped the New York Times Best Seller List and other best seller charts. Before joining CNN, Cooper was an ABC News correspondent and host of the network's reality program, "The Mole." He anchored ABC's live, interactive news and interview program "World News Now," and provided reports for "World News Tonight" and "20/20 Downtown."

Cooper graduated from Yale College in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He also studied Vietnamese at the University of Hanoi.

"Anderson" will tape in front of a live studio audience at Jazz at Lincoln Center's The Allen Room, a truly unique setting with views through a 50-by-90-foot floor-to-ceiling glass wall overlooking New York's Central Park and Columbus Circle.
