(Widower), Single mom of 3 children. A graduate of Bryant & Stratton College
I’m a volunteer at the DVCAC (Domestic Violence Child Advocacy Center), on the DVCC (The Domestic Violence Counsel Committee of Greater Cleveland )with Judge Ronald Adrine, working on projects such as: Cleveland’s Family Justice Center.
Also a victim who turned survivor, and now I call myself a thriver. As an Advocate for Domestic Violence-and a survivor of Domestic Violence and abuse, I turned my personal experience into a tool of empowerment for other women.
(2010) Was nominated by the Judging Committee for the American Red Cross of Greater Cleveland Hero Awards and was selected as a finalist in the Hero Challenge of the Educational category for being an inspiration to many and educating the public about domestic violence.

Thanks Jessica for thinking of me. But Anderson Cooper and his crew treated me like a Queen, from make up, hair clothes, I looked great that day. I never had that experience before. It's really not about me, it's about the message. Getting across to women out there they maybe trapped in their own private hell. I want to set them free, to give them empowerment, to let them know that there is a life out there for them a good life. Just take that step and go for it. If I could save one woman, I've done my job. Thank you again for caring.

thank you so much for thinking of me. Anderson Coopers Crew did give me the best gift ever, just appearing on his show and spreading awareness about domestic violence was a blessing in itself. I'm glad that you were able to see the show. And if you know someone in a terrible relationship and is trying to get out, help them and be there to support them. We have to Break The Silence On Domestic Violence!!

Can't wait to me you Mr. Cooper and be on the show Tuesday. I want to share my story and give other women who are still trapped in an abused relationship hope, to let them know that their not alone, it's not their fault and help is out there, resources are available. All they need to do is to take that first step towards freedom. I survived, and they can too.
