I saw the show and I have to say that if a child needs GO Juice to get through all that it needed to perform etc then it's too much to ask of this child regardless what the child thinks or feels. A child's body dictates what they need and I think if the body isn't going on GO w/out GOJUICE then the child needs the rest that it is conveying to the child. I don't know if they do this daily or just once a week or once a month. If it is regularly then the body is saying "it's too much".
As far as the outfits, I was raised that less is more from one of the God's finest ladies/angels ever given to this world and me. That being said I think if they pageant once a month or every 6 months, fine but more than that it will dictate to the child's mind "their worth" is in all this pizazz and after that they will be left feeling they've fallen short in WHO THEY ARE when they are no longer pizazzed up and in that world.
Just my opinion. Have no experience in this but have raised to girls and almost 2 boys to adulthood. Life is too hard finding who you are without added potentially "high bars" for future in the mix. Please don't confuse this with setting high goals but I think you understand what I mean.
From a 55 yrs old mother/grandmother. My 2 cents for what it's worth,eh?
