what a farce of an interview with Frank the neigbor - now he's a victim too and sooo brave for speaking out for his friend (cue the barf bag)while getting his 15 minutes - is he auditioning for a spot on one of the tv panels covering the case, can a book deal be far off or his own tv show?
Anderson used to have a reputation as a serious reporter so where were the obvious questions like "does protection of property warrant summary execution?" "Since when is 21 and 17 the same age?" "Did Trayvon have something to do with the death of Frank's son?" "who is funding him while he takes time off work for TV appearances?" "will he be testifying under oath in a court where his opinions will be subject to challenge?" so disappointed in you Anderson for not asking any tough questions!
Frank the neighbor your 15 minutes are up. Shame on you Anderson for providing him a platform and continuing to try this case in the media - anything he has to say should be said in court under oath at this stage otherwise he should shut up
excellent show -finally we see Anderson the investigative reporter exposing a sham. Now if u could do the same with those wannabe celebrity moms pimping out their kids on reality tv...
both the moms and kids are hooked on fame and Anderson has become an enabler by continuing to feature them on his show - 3 or 4 times now - enuf already. Wait a couple years when the reality show popularity has run its course and theyre back to being ordinary moms and kids instead of pseudo-celebrities and see what theyre saying
Barf time>There is little reason for teens to accidentally get pregnant given how savvy most teenagers are. But there are myriad reasons why they would choose pregnancy foremost among them - FAME. Rather than beig a cautionary tale the show and Anderon's spotlight make pregnancy desirable. What about the children being raised by children - to become reality tv show stars of AMericas Most Wanted etc? And whatever happened to shame...anything to become TV stars...anything for the filthy lucre...I predict a line of baby products carrying their name geared to teen moms ( if it hasnt happened already)
where were the johns who could talk about why they use prostitutes or cheat? Easy to beat up on Bethany and feed into the notion that prostitutes are all bad wives are all good. Not true and totally unfair to Bethany who is offerring a service that would become obsolete if it were not being used. How about beating up on the johns (and the junk food addicts instead of Macdonalds)who are choosing to use the service.
This was a frustrating show to watch as neither Anderson or the audience were asking the right questions.
This show is another reality show where participants are rewarded for bad behavior - the more outrageous and over the top the higher the ratings and the higher the potential for parlaying this into something else a la Kardashians et al. Their own reality show, perfume endorsement deal...more money more money more money thats what this is really all about for Abby and the moms. Reality show fame is the new gold rush and we are willing to compromise our morals and dignity for some of it.
