All of Anderson's guests today have faced major obstacles in their lives and have overcome them.
The new "Dancing with the Stars" champion, J.R. Martinez, talks with Anderson about taking home the mirror ball trophy, after out-dancing eleven other celebrities. Also, Anderson asks J.R. about his recovery process after being wounded in Iraq at age 19 in 2003. J.R. was trapped inside a Humvee that ran over a landmine in Karbala -- resulting in burns over 40% of his body. Martinez shares his inspiring story.
The latest on the Syracuse University child sexual-abuse scandal. Anderson speaks with 23-year-old Zach Tomaselli, the latest man to come forward and the third to accuse Syracuse Associate head coach Bernie Fine of sexual abuse. Who knew about the abuse in Syracuse and did nothing? Could there be more accusers coming forward? Plus, what should be done to stop child sexual abuse?
Anderson sits down with actress Tracey Gold, who details her lifelong battle with anorexia, and tells Anderson what she is doing to help others suffering from eating disorders. She tells Anderson the advice she gives her own sons about body image, and gives advice to women in the audience who are recovery of anorexia. Also, one of Tracey’s “Growing Pains” co-stars surprised her with a special message.
Plus, Anderson is on location with Elton John in Las Vegas, where Elton is currently performing his 16-show run of “The Million Dollar Piano.” Anderson surprises one lucky Elton John superfan with the surprise of her life -- by flying her to Las Vegas to meet her idol in person!Filed Under: Episodes

PLEASE pick my husband & myself to go & meet Sir Elton John! I think I would faint, but I'll try & control myself! That is #5 on my Bucket List! Also, I'm going to be 55 on June 25th of this coming month and that would be the best gift anyone could EVER give me in my LIFE! A third good reason is my hubby & I have been married 35 years & have never had a honeymoon, this would be a dream come true to finally see Elton John before I pass on!!My final and last reason to be picked to see Elton John is I have had Lupus for 29 years. It effects my walking, I just can not walk for long periods of time or long stretchs. Other than that and being sterid fat, I'm good and the attitiud is up there!
I would love to enter the Elton John giveaway. I would truly love to be able to give my best friend a trip of total relaxation. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 2 years ago. Dealing with the devastation and courage to fight thru this has given so many inspiration. She is the most giving and caring of so many and at times I feel that I can't give her enough but the most unconditional friendship and support. This would put that extra and much given dream. Watching Anerson today...I would love the opportunity to win tickets to see Elton John in concert to Las Vegas. This would a amazing gift to my best friend who is currently dealing with Breast Cancer. She continues to deal with other medical issues due to this devasting disease. She is the most selfless person, kind, and so much caring of others. This vacation would allow her to be free if only for a short time to have a gift of a lifetime. She is my best friend in the whole entire world and I would love nothing better to give this to her. Than you so much for the chance.
I enjoy the informative shows that Anderson has on a daily basis. They are so newsworthy and lively. The guests are always interesting people. We always expect the best from Anderson, and he lives up to our expectations.

Elton John show, but we have no celebration on that said occasion, cause we can't afford to have one. We eat at McDonald, went to church took pictures and we are happy. If given a chance to go to Vegas that will be FUN! i am their daughter and i took good care of them.
