With God all things are possible. They do more for and with their 19 kids than some parents with 2 kids do. They are well mannered, clean, healthy, happy, and are taught to help and serve others and to love the Lord.

Michelle & Jim Bob make it a point to spend one on one time with each child, make their birthdays a special day all about that child, and the other children rejoice with the birthday child. They are not jealous. They are some of the most selfless children I have ever seen.

They are home schooled and have 18 other children to play with, they all play one or two musical instruments.

They live debt free and Michelle never raises her voice.
They are a good example of what a family should be no matter how many children they have.

People want to say the older kids are raising the younger ones; it takes a village, and in most homes the older children are expected to help out with the younger ones.

God bless the Duggar family; and though it may not be your style; don't hate on them for what they believe.

Judge not less you be judged!

The media is constantly reporting negative news on an hourly basis. Why not concentrate on happy issues that are going on as well? The Duggars are doing a great job with their family and we are not here to sit and judge others. Its nice to watch a wholesome happy and sometimes sad program. They arent out in society making spectacles of themselves nor are they hurting anyone. In fact they are an inspiration to many of us out here. I would watch their show any day instead of watching all the evil that goes on. Every person has enough problems of their own without watching it on TV and incorporating that into their lives. I choose not to bombard my world with chaos.

I do not understand why media is giving so much attention to these Duggars Family. Just to get attention and celibrity status they are making children

It is not giving place to sleep and giving food is parenting. Children should get enough attention from their perents. I feel sorry for their kids, the older kids are parenting younger ones. Even 5 year olds are doing house chores, instead of going to school with other kids and enjoying their life. It is pathetic. Please stop promoting these kind of people.

This Duggar family is disgusting, the only reason they get their own show and people aren't making a fuss is because they are white, so they are allowed to keep popping out these kids and raising them on TV, we will see in 20 years how these poor kids were exploited by this TV channel and these terrible parents.

Ijust watched this show. All are remarkable but this one was really touching. I dont know who would have deserved a car more than the guests who won. I had tears rolling down my cheeks when she was told and even more when her husband was told they had won a car. I never ever miss your show.. Anderson, you are a remarkable man. Bless you Sincerely, Brenda Jenkins Southall

Regarding the Duggars' loss of their daughter who was 18 weeks gestation, my daughter lost 2 babies - Viviana at 27 weeks gestation and Kaleb was born at 8 months, but only lived for 3 days. After the loss of Viviana, she realized the need to start a non-profit organization to reach out to others who lose a baby. She did not want anyone else to leave the hospital empty-handed like she did with Baby Viviana. We make keepsake boxes and deliver them to hospitals in Florida to give to families after their loss. Inside each box are items for the mother and for the baby. We include a disposable camera and encourage them to take pictures of their baby to look at later when they are ready. A family that receives one of our boxes walks away from the hospital with a box full of memories to look at later. Check out our website to see what we do... www.kalebkares.com

As Americans, we live in a wonderful country where it is legal to have a belief; whatever that belief is. So often, people preach tolerance....tolerance...tolerance, but then turn around and are intolerant of others choices. In this country, people have the right to have as many children as they want too, or none at all. It's an individual's right. It's also an individual's right to believe in a God or be an Atheist. It's called FREEDOM. We are free to live our own lives according to our own beliefs. This is what makes America better then any other nation in the world. WE ALL HAVE RIGHTS, WE ALL HAVE CHOICES, AND WE ARE ABLE TO BELIEVE IN WHAT WE WANT TO BELIVE IN...OR NOT TO BELIEVE IN. It's call the pursuit of happiness.

The Duggars have chosen to have a big family. So what? Is their personal choice affecting your life? Probably not. Let the Duggars worry about the Duggars and you worry about you and your personal choices. Remember...you have been allowed to live the way you want too, so let them live the way they want too.

Religion is obviously very important to the Duggars. So, you don't like their religion? Again...so what? Is their religion affecting your personal life? Probably not. You've been given the right to believe in what you want too, so, why not give them the same respect? It's called freedom of religion.

Comments have been made about they way the Duggars dress. Is modesty really that offensive? Is it really any of our business how anyone dresses? So what if they cover themselves up. Would we rather have them dress their underage daughters in revealing clothes? Would you?

Let's stop and remember that we are Americans. We don't want anyone telling us how many children we can or can't have. We don't want anyone telling us what we can and can't believe in. We don't want anyone telling us what we can or can't wear. Who am I to judge? Who are you to judge? Who are any of us to deny or invade another person/family's right to freedom?

So, you don't like their family, what they wear, what they believe in...so what! I am sure many could say the same about you...and me.

No it is the older children that are parenting the little ones. If the parents did the parenting like families with 2 or 3 kids the Duggers would be so tired they couldn't handle that many children. So don't tell me they are parenting. That is like having a nanny but you have lots of nannies.

I happen to catch your show today and the Duggars got my attention. The fact that they have 19 children. I happen to be one of 20 children, all single birth. Granted the oldest is my half sister. My mothers was widowed and my dad married her when the the her child was 2 yrs old. I am 48, there are two younger than me. The youngest is actually 5 yrs younger than me.
My mom died when the youngest was 11 mths old. Could my parents affor us.. I would have to say no. But still we managed to go and strive. Was our childhood perfect again I say no. Yet against the odds we managed to thrive. I do hope for this family that was on your show do better than ours. Life isn't easy when there is so many children. We became over loaded with adult responsibilities so much so we really had no time to be kids. Don't get me wrong, I love children and often wished I had more but I know I never wanted so many children that I was unable to give the kids that one on one attention they need or that I would have had to make them grow up way too fast as I had to.
It is funny really the reaction I get when people ask if we were catholics or if we had no tv lol.. There is only 14 of us now and the sad part of it is every one lives so far party we are not as close as we should be. That is another thing I hope this family never has to go through.
I wish them lots of love and a brighter future than my family has faired.
Sincerely,
Kay Harris

I was skeptical, when I first started watching this show. However, over time, I've come to realize that most parents, not only don't spend as much time with their kids, they aren't invested in teaching them social and life skills to help them be productive members of society. Maybe, a better question for us to ask is: How much time are we personally spending, teaching honesty, moral behavior, compassion, service, character, self control and strong work ethic? To all the naysayers, look in the mirror and ask yourself.. Am I in debt? How are MY parenting skills? If you don't think our country would be better with more parents like the Duggars, then maybe you need to visit the overcrowded prisons or maybe congress. Thanks Anderson!
