In response to the repair scam section: As a woman, I know that I need to at least know basics about my vehicle so I am not as vulnerable. Many women are taken advantage of on repairs because they do not know their vehicle even on the most basic sense. You should know if you need new tires. In college, I took my car to a shop as it was leaking oil. My fiance went in with me and the guy at the counter started talking to my fiance. I informed him it was my car and he would be dealing with me that my fiance was there to take me home. I told him my car was leaking oil and I checked the filter which was on tight but did not have the space to get under the car to check into the issue. He tried to tell me it was antifreeze. I nearly blew a gasket. I informed him I grew up on a farm and I know what oil looks like, I looked at, smelled, and felt the liquid dripping from my car which was most definitely oil but if he wanted a taste sample I would be happy to supply one for him. I informed him I wanted them to diagnose the problem then let me know and I wanted to see all of the parts before I would pay for anything.
Anderson, in all fairness, Keke Palmer, made a remark about a gentlemen on an air plane, making a mess in his pants. I for one, am someone who has extreme bowel issue, considering I lost 4 1/2' of intestines, due to them blowing up on me. We are still human and still want to be included in life. That means, most generally, either not going anywhere or wearing diapers. Not by choice, but by necessity. If that was his issue, which I'm going to assume it probably was, that is embarrassing to the person who has the issue, without being made a public notice. I love your show, but that was unnecessary.
I was taped out in Medford New York about the mechanics scam. I was told by the producers that I would be picked up to be on the show. Had hair done, got a new outfit, nails etc. The producers NEVER called me. Even after a message that I left for them, they didn't have the decency to call me back! I have never watched this show and since it will be going off of the air, I can understand the reasons. People are still people and deserve to be treated with respect. SUCH A INCONSIDERATE STAFF! Very glad that I didn't go on the show!
On your show this evening on auto repair scams. I am an auto mechanic myself for the past 32 years. I have customers from western Washington to North Idaho, I offer support and advice as well as repairs, when someone asks me if I know a mechanic I tell them to ask an auto parts supplier for some that they trust to treat them right and fair. They work (sell parts) to all of the local mechanics, if they refer someone that's that is less than honest or does a bad job, they look bad.
The parts stores that I use have people that they will refer and some they will not.
If you or someone you know can use this advice feel free to pass it along.
Have a great day,
Chet Goheen
Why do people to laugh at trump? This is a person with the money and influence to do damage. He is also unstable. Count the number of people he feuds with. No one else in his position behaves this way. Now it's become serious. He has proposed a revolution. This is treason. He has advised that people descend on Washington and take over the government. This is indicative of hate groups, the klan and 400 Mississippi students. He has the ability to finance subversion and by his own words, he has committed treason.
Anderson and his co-host today 11/08/12 were so insulting---the co-host dressed in a holloween costum critizied an individual she sat next to on a plane that she said"crapped in his/her pants"...Anderson laughed-ha ha...I am a Viet Nam veteran and because of 40 treatments of radiation don't always have control of my bowel---radiation proctitus---I also have radiation cystitus...rather than laughing maybe when you go through the experience you attitude will change-it is not funny...I can't afford a trip to St Croix in Jan/2013 for my sisters daughter wedding but don't you ever critizize a persons handicap so you can get a f-bomb laugh
how dare you.
I would like to comment about Keke's "adventure" on the plane. Maybe the person sitting beside had Crown disease or coeliac disease. Sometimes it's almost impossible, when you suffer from these illness, to control yourself. It is very humiliating and could seriously affect your life.
Thank you
"Dave's not here!!" I to love Cheech and am looking forward to that segment!! :)
Reported on Wendy Williams that the 34 year old sister of Sarah Hyland, 20 years ago, was also removed from her mother and put in foster care for the same alligations of abuse from her mother. So mom is 2 for 2. What does her Dr & stylists really know about what going on at home??
pertaining to your show on women getting ripped off at car repairs. I suggest they purchase, around $200.00, but worth it, the CAR MD. when I have car problems, or when i go to purchase a vehicle, whether new or used, i use my CAR MD to check the car. It will tell me if anything is wrong, and also quotes a repair cost, etc.. this $200.00 savings has saved me so much. I print out what it says, and take it with me. but i don't show it to the guy until after he tells me what is wrong and his price. works for me...www.carmd.com
When I was in graduate school, I took a class in auto mechnics at the local garage - since grad students are really poor. The local YMCAs and School night classes are great. I'm now 77 and still can change a tire or refill my washer fluid. I't a matter of pride. Women need to educate themselves.
p.s. - you should do a show about how you do shows and tell people that they are going to be on a show and then don't call them! Like a "practical joke" show.
You should do a show about how you do shows and tell people that they are going to be guests, and then not call or let them know that they aren't going to be on. It would be like a practical joke show.
I was supposed to be on the mechanics scam show. You taped me and your producers told me that I would be on the show. Went out, got an outfit, had my hair done and you never called me. To be honest, that's really not nice and you should get new producers. This is why you are probably having a problem with the show. It's just not the right thing to do.
I'm so excited to see the show. I've watched Anderson on CNN for years. I can't wait to see who wins the "Jeopardy". I know tons of random, irrelevant info so maybe I can help you out, Anderson. Love you, too, Cheech. Everytime I do my make up and someone knocks on the bathroom door I start singing, "You keep on knockin' but you can't come in…" lol, all-time fav comedian in high schoo, but yet very down to earth from interviews I've seen. Excited to see you both. It will be a great show!! :)
