I appreciate Anderson's reporting before and after the election. I believe he is respectful to both parties. However, I am surprised that people live in this economy today and would reelect Obama. Obama had four years to make things better and failed. Reagan turned a poor economy around in four years. Obama continuously says that he will work with others to make positive changes, however, his actions have not proved that. One of his plans to help the economy is to tax the rich. That won't get this country out of debt. The administration needs to stop enabling people to live off the government. He needs to create jobs! He continuously talks about helping the middle class. The middle class has been hurt the most since he took office. I live in one of the more prosperous states in America, and I've watched businesses shut down and people out of work all over. And we're still blaming Bush for that? Obama said himself that he shouldn't be reelected if he couldn't fix the economy in his first term. And one of the reasons he was reelected, according the show of hands on Anderson's show, was people relate to him better. HOW ABOUT THE JOB HE'S DOING?? So let's elect him because he is cool. That doesn't make a good president! Also, Republicans don't have a problem with contraception, they just don't want their taxes to pay for them. What is wrong with that?? I just heard a young woman, age 25, telling a talk show host she has had 7 abortions. Not only is this morally wrong to take these innocent lives, but then to use our tax money to pay for them too. This is a sad day in America.
Meghan McCain is a defensive little blond, snapping at the other blond cohost. I wouldn't be surprise that she (McCain) is a biotch in real life. Her laugh is very annoying to me.
Anderson's co-host Meghan McCain showed her immaturity today and her sense of entitlement. I have daughters her age. For someone educated, she likes to "control" the conversation and is not a very good commentator because she "feels so sad that the voters didn't want those boys and their father and mother as the first family" (she cried a little) watching from her bed with someone (she made sure to add that). She didn't stop there, "had we won I would have poured champagne all over the person in my bed and celebrated." PLEEEEZZZZ TMI. The voters didn't care about electing a family that she personally knows is what she took away from this election. So sad. Everyone's comments about her treatment of Anderson's other guests was noticed as well.
This is the day after election and it my great hope that we aren’t going to continue to see what we have seen for the last four years. We as a country had better stop defining ourselves as red and blue states but as the United States, or we are going to find ourselves being referred to in the history books as once being a great nation. Believe you me there are other countries waiting in the wings to take the position. Let us come to together to ensure that our children, beginning with kindergarten on through college, are amongst the best educated in the world. We must remember that we are only as strong as our weakest link and that we need to stop cutting our noses off to spite our faces. I am of the opinion that patriotism starts with making sure that our people are employed and that these big corporations need to put people before profit and start bringing jobs back to our shores. I myself as an able body person would rather be employed contributing tax dollars instead of using them to support myself. Furthermore, it is my strong belief that more people feel this way than not. God has given us a great gift in this planet and it is our responsibility to take part in preserving it not only for ourselves but also for future generations through out the world. We need to remember that we could never do anything to earn God’s grace but that it is a gift. God has not only bestowed this gift on us but others as well. Let us learn to show humility and ask God to continue to bestow it on us. We need to show gratitude when it is given and most important not take it for granted.
I was offended by Meghan right from the start. Her opening remarks were something to the effect that if you are a woman you only follow politics "in and out" and you hear discussion of legitimate rape and that's what you focus on. Excuse me!!!! I am a woman who follows politics closely. And there is ONLY legitimate rape, so let's stop that discussion right there. The Republican party is out of touch with all women's issues and obviously so is Meghan. I didn't vote for President --Obama because two members of the Republican party made hateful and uninformed comments about rape. I voted for President Obama because he was the better of the two men in every area, especially in issues that affect women.
I like Meghan McCain, but I don't understand her. What exactly is it that she is defending? Why is she so intent on re-recruiting people? Re-recruiting to what? My impression of the Republican party is that it's the party of the Dark Ages, the complete antithesis of anything that even hints of inspiration. It's obsolete, depressing, and should find itself a much needed graveyard.
Meghan, you have such progressive views. Legalizing marijuana? Totally "radical", and I love it! Why are you so enamoured of this party? It makes zero sense to me. Why not stand on your own, and leave this decaying carcass of a party behind?
that was so annoying how Meghan McCain kept badgering Scott Van Duzer on switching back to republican. No one cares if it would break your heart, people should always chose issues and person and not sides. that was the point.
I love how people now adays just vote for someone because of what color they are. That is not right. What about people in West Virginia? The people that work in coal mines ain't going to have a job. How is Obama going to help us? He's NOT!!!!
Meghan McCain was disrespectful to Deborah Norville just now. She needs some smoothing to be as influential as she needs to be to move her party forward.
On the 11/7/2012 episode, I was offended by Deborah Norville's remarks about abortion in case of rape. She pretended to make a plea to go forward in unity, while at the same time trying to rub noses in the mud of those who do not believe in abortion in case of rape. I am sick and tired of the rash generalizations that if you do not believe in abortion in case of rape that you believe rape is God's will. The fact is that I believe that rape is a terrible sin, contrary to God's will, but that an innocent fetus should not be punished and murdered because of that sin.
I wish people & media would quit referring to President Obama as our first "black" president!! HE IS HALF WHITE!! HIS MOTHER & GRANDMOTHER, (WHO RAISED HIM ARE WHITE!!! ONLY HIS WIFE IS BLACK!!I claim him as my president, too, & I am white!! President Obama is bi-racial, & until he moved to Chicago lived in the white community!! So, please quit referring to him as our "black" president because he isn't!!
i wish each electoral vote was given separately instead of state by state. much different outcome
