In response to Tiffanie's question to Reza "What is a normal life?"
Normal is not a bad thing. It has nothing to do with how big or small you are. It does not mean you are different from everyone. Everyone is already different from everyone else. A normal life is a sense of contentment. It means having the ability to enjoy your life as it is. Reza was clearly content in his "normal life," whatever it comprised of, so why should he be made to feel like he should change for someone else's satisfaction?
I saw Jane Seymour on your show Wed Dec 19. I love her open heart collection. Here is a short story. Last Feb my beloved 45 year old Daughter passed away very unexspected. Needless to say I was devatated. My wonderful Husband [ not my daughters Father] bought me the open heart angel necklace and gave it to me at a very dark moment in my life. I have not taken it off. It brings me peace. Its like I carry her with me close to my heart. Thank you Jane Seymour.
This is Bias-journalism, his participants are odds that get the surgery, i guess the elves are at odds. I bet medical didn't cover it. I had this surgery, to stay off the streets, win, and say there is beauty and the right chance. The sad part of Rezza was that he had it done when the medical industry just started, sadly enough not enough research, antibiotics have gotten better, he's like in his late 40's, his pictures looked way dated. Ask if he paid or they offered, he was six or so, sad cause I was 22? The material now used is OsteoTite bone screws with hydroxyapatite coating (tricalcium phosphate) can be used in metaphysis and diaphysis to ensure the stability of the screw-bone interface. I think they use to use 316 L. Also depending on money environment care. I had this surgery done and I kind of love it after, my employer likes it better I don't fart around stools anymore which coworkers would trip over. It only took me three quick a lot of dvds and books years, I used some of my inheritance. At times I would walk on my orthofixes and go to the clubs with friends. You have to be able to keep clean, dial soap like you love it, you can't live in the middle of Mexico City and live in your bed, they have cartridges that now can go into the bone and grow with no external mechanism. I don't know the risk % but, when in LA doctors are kind of ready to roll this out as standard for fibulas correction and they automatically add 2inches and give option for further. Tiffany is a scary kind of dwarfism, it almost looks like brittle bone disease, I can't believe, all her types use crutches, you walk after. I know a little person orthopedic doctor that wouldn't and only completes it on Achondroplasia and Hypochondroplasia dwarfs who bone is research as having 1/3 greater density bone mass and that why it's called stunted bone, also those dwarfisms are supposedly from a genetic consult are male influenced, he also looks for family stability. My doctor had a 100% success rate with his patients, he was out of the Sinai Hospital in Baltimore but now a lead as a new practice in Miami.
hope the baby dets well ... i have a question om tryin to lose my belly fat i tried everything any suggestions ?
Everyone's struggle is their own and I don't believe that Tiffane should have made Reza feel like if she could do it so can he. By telling him that he should read her book, I found that a little uncalled for. Her and her parents decision was for them and what is for one person isn't necessarily for another. Being a little person should be looked upon as a problem or something that should be fixed. I don't know what's it is like to being a little person, but I feel for Reza, in the sense that he was once happy regardless of being a little person and now he feels that has been taken away because of society's perspective and views on "dwarfism".
My son had this surgery several years ago. Twice. He was born with one let short than the other. He is now 30 years old and doing great!!
I really felt for Reza, and the unfortunate consequences of his surgery, but I think he needs to let go of his anger over what was done to him and let others live their lives as they see fit. Tiffanie is obviously pleased with the results of her surgery, and feels it was worthwhile. I'm sure that if Reza's surgery had turned out as well as hers did he wouldn't be trying to convince others not to get it.
In reference to DRAWF ... It is an individual's choice. It is no different than those who want plastic surgery to LOOK a certain way whether it be breasts, ears, eyes, liposuction, gastric bypass, veneer implants. She will always be a drawf but she has the choice to do WHATEVER she wants to do to her own body. IT'S A WOMAN'S CHOICE; isn't it? Just like abortion? If you don't agree with the surgery or don't want it, THAT IS YOUR CHOICE. She should not be looked down upon because SHE made a decision that was right for her. We live in a society that has the methods and technology that allows anyone to be whatever and whomever they want. No ONE group gets to have it ONE way. That is YOUR diversity.
This is a very individual issue. People should not be made to feel "less than" who they are if they don't get this surgery. Little People seem to live perfectly normal, independent lives without it. So don't make them feel like they have to fit into someone's preconceived notion of "normal".
