Co-Host Monday with Kristin Chenoweth / Anderson Investigates Beauty Bias / Fiona the Incredible Rescue Dog
The Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress joins Anderson to talk about the latest stories making headlines -- including the New Jersey mom who allegedly took her young daughter tanning, a couple married in a mud blog, and the very funny viral video of three grandmas watching Kim Kardashian’s sex tape.
Do beautiful people really have it easier? In a provocative social experiment, Anderson investigates beauty bias in society. Hidden cameras capture how everyday people respond to women of different shapes and sizes. Would you be more likely to stop for a stranded motorist if she were attractive?
Also, how much attention does an overweight shopper really get from store attendants? Find out if you are contributing to this prejudice, and how you can overcome beauty bias.
Then, meet Fiona, the blind dog whose video went viral after she was rescued from a trash heap. Anderson also announces the launch of the “Anderson Pet Adoption Hall of Fame.”
Plus, Kristin surprises one of her youngest fans, and shares some of her favorite things -- be sure to visit AndersonCooper.com on Monday for a chance to win some!

I don't comment on shows, but I have to say I do not think that Kristin adds anything to Anderson's show. In fact I think she is a huge distraction. He didn't need her, she is silly, talks over him and in my opinion will be the undoing of the show. We don't need another Kathy Lee.
Thanks for listening.
when i was younger i wasn't the prettiest, but now i had braces and grew up and changed the way i think ect... lots of guys asking me out way toooo much and they ask to do other thing but i say no. I always ask people why am i "the one" for everyone its really annoying....
I've been watching commercials during your show and all of them use good-looking people. Now I notice how average and overweight I am!
Love Anderson. Always something new and different. Love to watch your 360... also and the Rediculist. I dvr the program and many times it cuts off before your done. Any way to scoot the Rediculist up in the program just a smiggin'? Keep up the great work. Your very much refreshing and 'keeping them honest'. Thank you Anderson.
I thought Kristin was great with Audrey and Eldad Hagar who saved Fiona. They and you all seemed to have a good chemistry. I wanted to see more interaction and hear more of their Fiona story and their others that are great and so heartwarming.
Please bring alll back for a fun interview that is also informative.
Thank you
Anderson loved your show (aired) May 7 with Kristin Chenoweth. What a delightfully warm and beautiful person she is (inside and out). I enjoyed your show because it touched on a variety of topics and it was informative. Enjoyed all segments. Thanks again for having Kristin Chenoweth on. -- Note -- Just found out Kristin's series "GCB" was canceled by ABC! -- SAD
I'm so proud of Anderson as a man with such a wonderful personality, honesty, humility, kindness and integrity. His loving relationship with his Mom is inspiring.God bless you for paying it forward with love and conviction truely coming from the heart in a world filled with such dishonestly and self-serving selfishness towards each other. Thank you for adding so much to so many peoples lives including me !
Help!! Looking for "fire in the hole" lipstick!
Have my story about adopting my little chihuahua 15 years ago.
Who makes Kristin Chenowith's "fire in the hole" lipstick? I've been Googling it since Monday, to no avail!
I think it's ironic you didn't let Audrey and eldad continue talking about formerly blind Fiona. I would have liked to hear about bias against disabled animals especially how she was ignored, how they got to her, her transformation, and audrey discussing before the surgery how she blossomed but but of course you made them all invisible to indulge Kristin's ego. Do you not see it?
As a person with a physical disability I have experienced discrimination particularly as a child from my peers. I walk with the assistance of canes, so I frequently have had to deal with people assuming I was also cognitively impaired. In high school I had classmates who didn't believe I had cerebral palsy b/c I was smart. They insisted I must have been involved in some sort of accident.
Now, as an adult I hope that through my job as a school psychologist I provide a positive example to both non-disabled and disabled students of how successful a person with a physical disability can be.
Why did you allow k chenoweth botch the Fiona interview by her need for attention.?
She would not let the woman speak, was very rude and seemed like she could not stand not being the center of attention for one second so she had to interrupt and take the dog to get focus on her and ruin a good interview.
It was very rude and I am appalled you did not stop her. I doubt your show will survive with such treatment of guests by a supposed cohost. If you even watched your own show, you would not be happy like the rest of us are not.
Saw Kristin on Anderson yesterday. Really don't know much about her but was really touched when she told the couple that rescued the blind poodle that they were doing God's work. I think that was meant for me! For eight years a few of us have worked so hard with our local high kill county animal control to rescue the animals out of there. We live in a poor rural county with a 20.2% unemployment rate! What I have seen done to animals is beyond belief. For almost 12 years I have cared for my mom and now my dad fulltime. April just about did me in!!! At the beginning of April I had surgery on my right foot and was given instructions to keep my foot up at all times the first two weeks. Three days later my dad had a small heart attack. I was able to bring him home from the hospital where he died several days later. Needless to say my foot has not done as well as it could of since I had to be on it all the time. The final staw was last week when the engine on our rescue van blew up. I had given up - our group doesn't have the money to replace it!! Then today I heard Kristen say, "you are doing God's work". My heart melted - I will continue on because you are right - I am doing God's work. Thank you Kristin - you are delightful.
there is an amazing writer you should follow, i thought of it today when i saw your show.
