They have all been on the dole. They have all filed bankruptcy with Kody. He's a user but they agree to it so no big deal but when you live on the dole it is a big deal. Sort of like Jerry Springer show with grown ups.
I watched the program about the Brown Family, my question is how do they live, who supports them ? are they supported by the State of Nevada or from the TV show... Thanks

Thank you for having a show on such a politically incorrect and volitile phenomenon as polygamy on your show June 29/2012. How can I stop this from going on further in Canda? For years it has been known that in Bountiful, BC 30 miles from Creston, BC and 70 miles from Cranbrook, BC(where I grew up) that they were getting teenage girls in and out of Canada as first their daughters and later marrying the same girls. US girls in Bountiful, BC and the US girls who knows where as sex slaves. The lost boys were known to be absorbed into the Local LDS churches of either Creston, BC or Cranbrook, BC. Now in Cranbrook, BC the first of the BB Boys from the FLDS church in Bountiful came into that community of Canbrook, BC 2 years ago and now own a sawmill, in or near Elford, BC. and will soon be in Alberta, CANADA, where I live currently in Lethbridge, AB. I am concerned about this because of the changes in the community of Cranbrook, BC in ecomomics and in other churches,the people of Cranbrook, BC, etc. I have seen it with my own eyes on Sunday only 16-40 people now go to most churches in Cranbrook, BC. There is an evil odd aura around the town that you can feel. Not what the town it was I grew up in but of an evil presence.
Can any of your FLDS kids on your show help me I know that was on June 29/2012 for I believe one boy said he wanted to blow the whistle on the FLDS church? Or how I can stop this from occurring more in CANADA? For noone truly knows the true conseqences of this more that the girls and boys kicked out of their families told the world; and that all outsiders are evil and is an evil place and for the boys have stopped school in grade 8; the girls are stopped learning much earlier to do what only they know.

I was curious as to why Anderson and the media in whole fixate on the FLDS and not other religious sects? I know they have to play the PC game but are they scared of Muslims? The one in the North east (Islamberg) is closed (by armed guards) they have prearranged marriages with 9 yrs. old; they have honor killings and other related code violations. They practice Sharia law and ignore Western laws. Just Goggle honor killing and investigating’s both there and in California. But I guess it is safer picking on Mormons knowing they won’t retaliate.
I do not make any judgements against the Brown's lifestyle. I watch their TV show and am currently reading their book. HOWEVER...what nobody seems to be talking about is the fact that polygomyis illegal.
Its like watching Jerry Springer, desperate women, their life and their choice. The difference is these women are adults and displaying their psychoses. Taxpayers will ultmately pay as they have done in the past with these people. Each to his own but not on the public dole,
I am grasping at straws. I have twin grandsons. (16) whom are hooked on spice and weed. The courts say they can do nothing to them!! They have destroyed their home and their family ( mother,father and sister). They were told if they did not want help there is nothing the parents cab do. Sixteen year olds have rights parents do not!!!!! I am fearful that one day someone In that house is going to get killed. Can you find someone who can help us???

I don't understand this church. God only permitted people like Jacob to have multiple wives because he needed to keep the lineage that Jesus would eventually be born from intact. Jacob was tricked into marrying Leah but Jesus would eventually come from the second wife Rachel's lineage. So God needed Jacob to marry Rachel so He made an exception. Its not necessary now because Jesus is already born. In fact, when Jesus came to earth he abolished this practice. He said that anyone who was married and was not divorced and married someone else was committing adultery and would not inherit the Kingdom. These people should just call it like it is, not use religion or the Bible to get away win sin.
Unbelievable cannot think how this can be legal. Not too mention what this is doing to all the children. It seems there is more to this story. This ia a little sick not too mention these woman don't appear to be happy all is very large. Maybe no self worth??????

How can they afford so many kids and homes?, I have been told that in most cases one family Is supported by the husband, the rest are considered single moms and are on some form of government assistance .

Yes polygamy can work if that is what all parties in the marriage/family agree to.
and FYI - not all polygamous families are FLDS, Mormon, or anything similar.
I come from a family with seven kid and I am the oldest. we arent mormon and there is only one mum and dad. I don't agree in polygamy but it isnt my place to judge, only god can judge them. I have a friend that has just joined the church of the latter day saints of jesus christ (mormons) and i have to say that I am worried about him. he is searching for the truth which I think is awesome and he feels that he has found it with them. I have been looking into what they believe and I am yet to find any proof that the book of mormon has any truth to it.
can anyone show me any proof that jesus came to the americas by referencing the bible. because i have yet to find the proof to what i feel is the most important statement that their book of mormon says. if jesus didnt visit the americas then how can the book of mormon be true. The chapter I am talking about from the book of mormon is 3 nephi 11. please research this for yourselves and let me know what you discover.

I am of the mindset that it makes no difference...live and let live. Myself and my friends laugh all the time about needing a sister wife so we can have a few days off !
I am so tired of all this BS about leaving the Brown family alone. If they had wanted to be left alone, then they would not put themselves on tv. Wake up people. Kody is laughing his way all the way to the bank with his TLC check on how naive the viewers are. Of course, all TLC is going to show us is milk and cookies or Leave it to Beaver. Do you people think that TLC will show us what really goes on in this home. This show is edited like all the other reality shows. Kody and his wives are getting paid and we are paying for their lifestyle by watching this show. Like I said before, I feel sorry for the kids. They did not choose this lifestyle. They did not have a choice. If you raise a child to know only one way of life then this is what they are going to choose. The kids are just now going to public schools. They are going to realize that the majority of people do not care for their lifestyle and really don't care that Kody has 4 women to sleep with. What people care about is the kids. I wish that Kody would go away and that TLC will wake up and cancel the show. Again, if Kody cared about his family like he says he is, then he would not have put them through this ordeal. He would not have them on TLC for a payday. Kody is a fame whore plain and simple. Anderson, how much did you pay them to be on the show?
