The husband is either as guilty as she is, or is the biggest chump on the planet. Pick your poison.

my sister in law has lied about having cancer at least three times. My brother beieves her every time. She got some medical procedures done in her homeland of Mongolia and then told him at least 9 years ago that she had cancer. She returned to Mongolia last year and when he decided not to follow her she told him she has overian cancer. He caved and gave her flight money to come back to him. She hasn't had any medical treatments and is just living her life, not under any medical care. She looks wonderfull and is not showing any signs of any sickness. I think the problem is with my brother who would have to admit to himself that she has lied to him all along, so he just goes with it rather than admit he's been foolish. Nobody would challange her to her face for his sake. I don't think it's as rare as you think.

I watched this and cried. My boyfriend of 30 yrs found out he had cancer (for real). The community and the church rallied together and gave us a lovely wedding. I will be forever grateful for their support. My husband died 4 months after our wedding.
It makes me sad when I hear these lies. What if our community and church decided we were lying about him having cancer. We would not have had some of those beautiful memories and I would not be Mrs W. which I feel honoured to be.

I wouldn't forgive someone that faked cancer, cause there are alot of ppl out there that really are going thru cancer that don't have much time to live.. What his wife did, was more that just horrible, and the fact that he's standing behind her makes him look more guilty. With him giving a public appology that didn't do much either cause, I think that he was also in on this... Cancer is the biggest thing in this world, the fact that the faked having Cancer for a free wedding is more than selfish, and puts ppl that have actually have Cancer in a bad spot... I would have asked for all the money back that these depts and comps gave her for free.. I would have asked for all that back since she lied about all of this.

How can Mr.Cooper decide for others(being the cancer society) if they should or not forgive one's fault. We all have faults, over and over in our lives we have to forgive and be forgiven. That is part of relationships. At least that is what the Bible teaches us. One day or another we need a helping hand, grace and mercy. Mr. Cooper you do not like being jugded but you do so yourself. Is that what your show is about, making you popular? It should not be about you but about bringing people together. If you can't at the least be neutral, maybe you should not have the microphone in your hand, just out of respect.

The lady today from the audience who accused the husband of lying as well clearly just wanted attention and people to clap for her when she obviously did not know what in the world she was talking about for a second. You don't just going around accusing people of something that serious when there is no evidence of him lying also. And then the friend on the stage even agreed the guy immediately told her when he found out the truth so then it was confirmed that the lady in the audience was WRONG and was just acting completely crazy and rude. You don't do that to people. And then of course when the friend said he didn't lie, the attention got directed away from that discussion all together which is ridiculous. Just cause "you all discussed it during the commercial" does not mean you know anything about what went down and that really made me angry. People are so obsessed with attacking people who do something wrong that they make that a priority over protecting innocent people. And in this case it's on national television. I'm sorry but I notice Anderson's audience always wants to say things that they think people will clap for and will attack the person on the stage and it bothers me that people can never have an opinion that goes against society.

I know this is the 2nd time I have watched this episode and it just gets me that these things are happening out here. I have got a similar story only involving a purchase of a property that was a foreclosure and belonged to the government, and this person forged a cashiers check to HUD and they did catch it but she suffered no consequences and then continued to tell lies to her family that included even going to closing on this particular property. I could go on and on. I just received a call again regarding this person in more lies and deception in a rental property of a mutual friend and now they have to evict "AGAIN" she continues to lie and take advantage of people and our laws obviously tell her this is ok, this is just a pebble in a mountain of lies and deceit this person has done in this small community and has not spent one day in jail. It is unbelievable what our laws actually tell our wrong doers what they can get away with. My opinion. Thanks for letting me vent!

Those re-born doll collectors make me sad. If they've got so much time to hold fake babies, why don't they volunteer at neonatal units and do some good holding babies fighting for their lives? And what about the real kids these women have? Mom's obsession cannot be good for them!

No, as a person who really had cancer 3 times I must say I could not forgive a person who lied about it for such a shallow reason. (to have a fancy wedding).

No!! Yes I've Ben deceived , but I try to give the person three strikes. In the case of the bride, that is unforgivable. I have gone through cancer and so far a twelve year survivor. I was young with a young family as so many others! I don't know how people can live with themselves when pulling a stunt like that. Now I think that is why so many organizations, or community groups have a hard time getting donations. Also when someone really needs the help now today from their community they actually have to researched to be proven they need help...oh well she has to look at herself everyday in the mirror, that will be punishment enough I would think, and all the trust she has lost with her friends, family and community!

I'm not sure why people think that the woman who lied about cancer's husband had to know that she was lying, when other people who she was in close relationships with did not know she was lying either. Why didn't they know? Also, the woman that was the most vocal on stage said that the husband said he didn't hurt her like the other men in her life, but what he said he didn't do was physically and sexually abuse her like men in her past. There's a difference. And I do not agree that someone cannot be a good mother, and lie too OTHER people? I wonder if or how many people would think that you can't be a good FATHER and be a cheater at the same time. The people on stage are clearly angry that they were scammed (understandably), and that is causing them (and Anderson) to overly demonize this woman and her husband. Maybe the woman on stage should ask herself why she would take money and energy from her own children and family for someone else in the first place?

I missed about 5 minutes of Tuesday's show (had to take a phone call) and thought I missed the word of the day but I see from some of the other comments there was not a word for the day. How do I find out what happened and get the word of the day.
