Always love seeing moms being recognized for the selfless way they serve. My mom was a loving, kind lady whom everyone loved. Mother's Day always reminds me of how special she was and how much I have missed her since she passed over 20 years ago. She made tremendous sacrifices for her family and never expected anything in return.

She must be so very proud of you. Appreciate your integrety in your journalism in this day of such media madness. You are so special, the only journalist I trust..I always feel you have done your homework and when you report something it is fair and accurate. Thank you so much, Please Keep on "Keeping them honest". Kind Regards, Betty dakini1121@yahoo.com

Anderson,

I remember when I started buying your mother's fashion designs back in the 70's. She is warm, loving, caring, kind, intelligent, elegant, beautiful, and a strong woman, a role model for all mothers. I can see all of these qualities in you. You are her greatest achievement and it brings tears of joy to my eyes when I see both of you together!

Happy Mother's Day to your mom, a legend and, at the same time, a woman to which we can all relate. I look forward to seeing her on more shows. Most importantly, I love that you are so very proud of her. I wish you and your mom many happy moments, moments from which you both will have many loving memories.

Warmly,
Jozefa

A comment from Jozefa's daughter Cathy. I love you mom. Happy Mother's Day!!!!

My mom worked all the time, but she still found time to spend with me. She had a bicycle with a little black baby/child seat(picture 1970's style)attached to the back. I couldn't have been any older than 3, or 4 tops. She would take me on rides in Bethpage State Park, which has a beautiful bike path. Once we got closer to home, she would take me to the school yard, which had these little white flowers growing everywhere in the late spring and early summer. We sat down and I remember her tying these flowers together to make me a crown, necklace, and bracelet.

Mom, thank you for everything. I love you!!!

All my heart,
Cathy

My Mom was very precious to me. Besides being my Mother she was my best friend! Her undying trust in me is a big part of who I am today. My Mom had 5 children and there were times when there was no money, not even for food. They had closed a plant that my Dad worked at. My beautiful Mom had one can of soup and she split it between all seven of us (Her,my Dad and my brothers and sister and myself).AMAZING WOMAN! She and I would go window shopping all the time. We just liked being together. My Mom totally raised all of her children to love each other but most importantly to respect everyone. There wasn't a callus bone in her body. My most wonderful memory of her was the LOVE she gave me until the day she died.
When she took sick with vaginal cancer (rare) she was a tropper! I worked so I told my boss I needed the week days off to take her for radiation and chemo treatments. My Mom was a BEAUTIFUL PERSON, inside and out. She was a true LADY. She was told she was in stage two when in reality she was in stage four. We felt so much hope so we just continued with her treatments. within three months my DEAR Mother was on her death bed. I sat with her for four straight days-24-7. I couldn't sleep. I would watch her and rub her forehead. Tell her how much I loved her and that I was so glad that God let me have such a wonderful Mom!
As her end was nearing I wanted her to know she didnt have to fight so hard because the doctors had lied to her. My Mom was not talking or opening up her eyes at all. I sat there crying the night before she died. When all of a sudden she opened up her beautiful blue eyes. I was so blessed to get to talk to her. She asked what was wrong so I told her what we found out about the doctors lying to her. I also had to tell her she also had bone cancer. She sighed and said okay. I told her not to stay and to go be with her Mom who she had lost when my Mom was only 20 years old. She shook her head like alright. I kissed her and told I loved her so much. With that she closed her eyes and never spoke or opened them again. She lingered until the next night when God decided she had suffered enough. As I sat there hugging her tightly with my eyes closed, I felt her spirit leave her body. I opened up my eyes and her skin was glowing like gold. On her lips she had the most beautiful smile. I was at peace because I knew she was with her Mom,Dad and her Brother.
I will never forget how much she loved me and I will never forget our precious time as we talked at the end of her life. I let her die with dignity by telling her the truth. Every Mother's Day I thank God for that special time with my Mom and my best friend. God needed her to be with her parents and I was so happy he didn't let her stay in pain any longer than she did.
I have to tell you Anserson, your Mom is a beautiful Lady and she reminds me of my Mom. Your Mom is a very classy lady and you can see how much she and you mean to each other, God Bless her and God Bless you Anderson for being the wonderful person and son that you are. Please tell your Mom I wish her a very wonderful MOTHER'S DAY! God Bless Sandi Guidotti
