THE MOTHER-CHILD BOND OF LIFE
The other day, I attended a college graduation ceremony and observed something that verified something I already knew, but hadn’t actually thought about. Seated in front of me was a young mother and next to her was her newborn baby. The infant couldn’t have been more than two weeks old as it sat in the plastic car carrier oblivious to the world. What I observed was this mother’s constant and deliberate attention to this new person. Every few seconds she would look inside the carrier to see if everything was alright. The baby was sleep, yet the new mother kep*****ch much like a mother robin does with her newly hatched babies; or like a mother lion does with her baby cubs. And it occurred to me that there is a special bond between child and mother that is pure and natural. It cannot be duplicated. It can not be replicated. Grandma doesn’t have it. Auntie doesn’t have. And definitely Dad doesn’t have it. That bond between mother and child is like no other bond ever created. You can’t describe it. You can’t study it. You simply have to know that it is.
And while the bond gets tested many times as a child grows, the bond remains intact. Mom will defend you to the Supreme Court if need be, yet be your harshest critic when you act a fool. I instinctly knew that this bond existed, but when you get to be grown, sometimes you have to be reminded of what you know. That’s what the woman at the graduation ceremony did. She reminded me that the Spirit created the bond between mother and child to be like no other human connection on earth, and because of that, we are blessed more than we can ever comprehend.

This was the first time i have watched your show, I Love it! Enjoy your weekend..
Her everlasting love. No matter what was happening, how bad, how stressful, mom always had a calmness about her and a glow. She always called on God and reminded me that he must be first and foremost in my life, because through him all things were possible and we could not fail. She showed love daily by her hugs and kisses and telling us she loved us. Even in her worst moments in life through sickness and her pending death, she showed love. Her concern was not for herself, but for all those she loved. As I watched her dwindle away from the healthy strong bodied, strong minded woman she was, to the frail 90lbs., she became before going to her heavenly home, she smiled and said how much she loved us. I know heaven is a glorious place and mom is there, still giving he undying love. To those of you with a mother here in your presence, or those of you that are mothers, always show and give those you love your love. That feeling alone, will carry them through many struggles, long after you are gone. May God Bless all mothers on this Mothers Day.
I want a life size cut out of Anderson too!!
I lost my mother very young, but the most beautiful moments with my mom,was when I was in college for Fine Arts and I used to goo to the ballet or opera from tiques provided by the School and mommy, she will take me but she had my brothers and father plus she was a designer too,she will never set now and she will guest dress beautiful but always she will fell asleep if you want more love after work so hard, she will make the time to reaffirm my education in the arts and my future,I am what I am today a decent human been and a professional because of my dear and beautiful mother Gladys.Thank you,and happy mothers day Mrs Corie G Rodriguez.
I Cooper. I watch you a lot. Your story today on the long lost relative was very touching. I can't relate to it much as we have never had anything like that happen in our family. However, I have known of at least three (3) different families that it did happen to and it was so heart breaking.
I caught a part of your show today 5/11 about the girl who had a back fracture and surgery and because of the pain from arthritis, her mom invented a machine that looked somewhat like a tens unit. This machine apparently gave her so much relief from her pain, that she was able to walk again. My question is, if such a machine exists and works, this could mean relief for millions of people who suffer from arthritis pain such as myself. Why was information of this magnitude an importance, not passed on to the public. Or at least publish a website to get the info. Can you please send me an internet site where i can get info on how to aquire this machine or info about it. Believe me if such a machine exists and reslly works, then unless its something that works so well that the medical community does not want the public to know about it, then I am sure that many other millions of people who suffer from such pain are wondering the same thing. Is this true or is there a reason why such important info about how to get one, was not made public. I could not find the info on the shows website so COULD U PLEASE SEND IT TO ME, because i will go to any length to acquire one if it exists and really works. Thank you so much.

Dear Anderson, Thank you so much for the wonderful Mother's Day Show that aired today. Your generosity and thoughtfulness brings so much happiness into people's lives. I was so touched by your whole show, especially the segment about the mother who had searched for her son for 40 years. You are such a generous soul! Thank you for being you!! Sincerely, Linda Edwards
I found the cutest website with magnet necklaces for mom and daughter. I just bought a set for daughter Becky and me to wear on mom’s day! That will be fun. They have these red hearts with plastic ladybugs glued on them. They are held to the necklace with magnets. Loved the designs. Well, happy mother’s day to all the moms. www.britebuttonz.com

I think Mother's and father's should be honored monthly and not just once a year. This mother's day I will be helping a mother who just lost her 33 year old son to cancer that just died today and the funeral will be this weekend. She is grieving and I believe all mother's should unite for one who is suffering with such a tremendous loss as this, the biggest heartache for any mother. I wish all you Mother's a beautiful day with your family. And pray for those mother's who are suffering. God Bless you mother's.
