My son who is 25 years old has been a very picky eater since he was two. As he has gotten older, he has expanded his diet but there are a lot of things he has never eaten. He is being treated for an anxiety disorder and depression. He also has Asperger's Syndrome. Milk is a staple in his diet as well as carbs such as cookies, donuts, chips and cereal. He also eats some form of chicken most days. My concern is the long term health issues he will have from this diet. He already has too much fat around his middle. Any help out there?
Thank you, Anderson, for the compassion you showed your guests today for their food addctions, especially the young man. I also have OCD, severe enough I'm on medications to help get me through each day. So I know how hard it was for him on the show today, and you were very understanding!
Yes I guess I do have an interesting food habit. I do not eat my food together it has to be in a particular sequence like if I have on my plate corn, green beans, mac and cheese and roast beef I will start with the green beans then next the corn then the mac and cheese and finally the roast beef. I will always start with the vegetable that is the darkest in color then work my way towards the meat. Also I do not like for my food to touch it has to be in its own compartment if it does then I will throw it away and start on a new plate. Weird I know I am always the slowest eater my family gets upset at me especially when we go out to eat.
Thank you Anderson for your referral to Missing Money .com last week! I found a $1,000 for my friends and family members, including $59 for myself! You're one of the good guys Anderson, a salt of the earth decent human being. Thanks again, Judy
While surfing the net I came across your show where the two newscasters talked about their abuse at the hands of a Catholic priest. I also was abused and now 40 years later and just coming to terms with it. The things that Mike Goles said were things I am feeling now. I married and had two children and have a good life but I repressed this all this time. At the time I lied tomy parents and said it happened at a restaurant by a vagrant who Iknew could never be found. With the Sandusky. And the Horace Mann stories, all this eels so real but I don't know what to do with my story.

Dear Anderson,
I am currently watching todays episode about food obsession and it is breaking my heart. I really feel for the younger gentleman on your show, I just want to send my love out to him and let him know I would date him and go to Chili's every night with him :) Stay strong Ryan
Great Show today - I LOVE DANNY DEVITO - if he is in a movie you know it's gotta be great !!! Anderson you are funny :) and I love you too and your show - keep up the good work :)
I watch your show daily, today's show was very interesting dealing with peoples food obsessions. All of your shows and all of the various topics are just very good. Keep up the good work. Thank You
My last line of previous comment was supposed to be "i*****ers it down"! Don't know what happened there?
Great show....tell Ryan he is adorable and a good woman would be able to adjust to his schedule. He might find a woman who is a social worker, she would understand and adapt. I am a social worker in Michigan and if this is his only "flaw" he is golden! And Louise commenter....that lip twitch is an effort to not cry on national tv - have some heart
I did not get the connection for the "food addiction" guests?? Didn't even talk to the girl who eats a lot of salt very much...seems to me the lady with the corn starch addiction and the lady with the salt addiction would almost fall under a PICA category and the gentleman clearly was OCD and food addiction had nothing to do with it. Whoever is scheduling guests totally got this one wrong!. I've been a nurse for 28 years and have OCD so I could see how they didn't connect but the poor guests must have been really upset that this was the day they got to come see the show. The segment Anderson is trying to fit in at the end of the show is a waste of time...nothing is really said...he talks longer to tell everyone to tweet him and the show, which is annoying....and I like Anderson...so disappointing! He needs to stop trying to fit so much in...i*****ers it down.
i really hope ryan gets better, i could feel his anxiety and fear. thank u anderson for highlighting this condition i thought it was very rare,im glad im not alone, but it really is hard to deal with and embarrassing to talk about bc i know its weird but i cant help it, im glad to know there are specialist that can help, good luck guests!
I have seen the woman with corn starch addiction on another show. I believe it was TLC. She was accepting help then, and was shown more powerful things that can happen. Obviously, she is just looking for attention, and loves TV appearances.
