Re Happiness segment-have had so much turmoil in my life-abuse 0f all kinds, health, family issues, you name it,its been o0n my plate! Took awhile-finally realized I was a good person-slowly mgot life back on track all on my own. Became aware of special someone who inspired & continues to inspire me with his life even tho it may not be realized. Gratitude-so important & remember it every day& those special people in my life -Vision Board helps with bucket list-staying positive etc. Firmly believe we dont meet people b y accident -they are meant to cross our path for a reason - All Good Karma!!!
I watched the show but never saw anything about the Top 2 Ways to Make Money????? Did anyone see it?
I watched Anderson Live today with his guest Cindi Lauper. I am glad that Anderson enjoyed the borscht. I live close to a city (Castlegar, B.C. Canada) where there are a lot of Doukabours and borscht is one of their favourite soups. They use lots of butter and cream when they make it and you could not ever find a better vegetable soup. It was surprising to me that not many people in the audience even heard of it.
I love Anderson's shows.
HI CYNDI, HAVE YOU TRIED BEEF BORSCHT? JUST ADD SMALL CHUNKS OF ROAST BEEF TO THE BEETS.CABBAGE,POTATOES ETC.. A HEARTY COMFORT FOOD.
I totally understand your guest that is fearfull.
I also am in a simular situation. I Lost my job. My son passed the day before Thanksgiving 2011. Now I am fighting to keep my & 76 yr old mothers home. Oh Yea, I have recently been diagnosed Disabled.
I understand your guests fears. I will say a prayer for her.
Thank You

Cyndi Lauper is beautiful but an idiot. She should not talk anything science related. She is beneath Anderson Cooper's intellect! I turned off the show.
I am watching Anderson Live right now, Wednesday 1/9/13, which was taped in October 2012. The guest that was just on, with the negativity problem, isn't she the actress-Flo, from progressive? I think so.
Flu shots, never had one, and have never had the flu. My husband gets one, he gets the flu, friends and family have gotten one and get the flu. Like my dogs no shots, build up a good immune system....just saying....
What a gay mans dream, 2 hot guys and Cyndi Lauper, makes me happy
Love the Show
Today is a Gay Mans dream, 2 hot guys and the great Cyndy
Love you Cyndy Lauper
Sorry but really disappointed in your guest Gabrielle...gratitude log, visionb board and writing down fears and throwing them away are old out of date ideas and this is not new info to anyone.
SHe didn't offer your guest some solid suggestions...reality is lots of people have fearful situations right now due to economy, etc and you can't "think" them away with a positive attitude.
Anderson,
I don't usually watch your show but noticed this morning that Cyndi Lauper was on and the topic was negativity intervention. To be honest I am a Fox News watcher, but I decided to tune-in and really enjoyed the discussion and tips. Although I am probably at the opposite end of the spectrum politically I have always thought that Cyndi Lauper was one of the most intelligent woman in the music industry and a quality person after I saw her many years ago on the Johnny Carson show. Additionally, although I am probably not in agreement with you on many issues politically I have always thought you were a classy person, not a hack or angry liberal (sorry for the generalization). I also was really embarrassed for you last week when Kathy Griffin went way over the line which is her stick and one of the reasons I will not watch her because of her regular low class comments and behavior which isn't really funny except to those that don't know real comedy.
Maybe I will peek in to the topics of your show more often.

This is for your guest today who's dealing with fear. - Courage is not the absence of fear but the judgment that something else is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever but the cautious do not live at all. For now you are traveling the road between who you think you are and who you can be.
