Does anyone remember the statement made by Anderson at the conclusion of the segment re: the sibling issue that went something like "you may win the battle in an argument but is it worth losing a family member...?" or something like that... Thank you.

i really dont understand people, fighting over a table? people are really crazy.i really wanted to comment on this because my family are going over a similair situation.I suggest that the sister give her half of the money to her other sister and let her other sister enjoy her table that has sentimental value to her.family should not act this way,to me its just crazy.

First, those sisters should not put their relationship in jeopardy over a table. I am sure their grandmother would be sad and ashamed at the way they are letting her table come between them. Neither sister wanted to take any constructive advice from the mediators, either.

My suggestion would be to have a skilled woodworker take the table and split it in half. He could then make them each an item made out of the wood that they can appreciate and display in each of their homes. I am sure each sister having a beautiful heirloom made from their grandmother's table would end this sad and shameful feud. No material item is worth what these two are doing to each other.

I would never hire those mediators! I don't understand why the one sister won't let her sister just have the table, If its sentimental to one sister, she should be able to keep it and if necessary, give her sister $1,500 to resolve it once and for all!

I would give anything to be able to talk with my sister. I remember when my mother died we did everything we could to help each other cope. When my father died and it was time to split up the "furniture", I am sure we would have done it fairly. That was not possible as she died at the age of 55, one year before our father. Do these women realize that they are putting a price tag on a priceless relationship. I could only dream of having my sister back!

The sister who wants the table should keep it! It is not about the stupid money. Their relationship between the sisters is forever changed but I hope the sister who thinks it should be sold will give it up. Besides, I think it makes a beautiful laundry table!!

Mon. Jan. 14, 2013 show:
Your segment about the family's disagreement over a table was pre-empted by the President ---- how was it solved?; how much was the table really worth? I am interested in hearing the results!Thank you.

As for the sisters fighting over an antique table...I think the mediators have it ALL WRONG , the sister that the table MEANS SOMETHING to should keep it.
Go out and buy 2 more tables?? stupid.
I was actually going to start watching their show , but now am having second thoughts , may just delete what I have DVR'd
The sister that family history means nothing should just step aside and understand that her sister CARES about the table.

I was glad to be able to reveal the antique table's true value for the two feuding sisters. Once you have all the information about an antique, you can make a smart decision that satisfies everyone involved. Happy to help... Dr. Lori http://www.DrLoriV.com

Today's episode with this table and the sisters...why don't they have the table made into three different items. One for each sister and their mother.
