First I would like to thank you for great shows, one never knows truly about someone and this is a good way to be informed.
I must tell you I never thought I cared for Angelina, but seeing how she is really caring and how warm she seems puts a different light on how I feel about her.
Thank you
Angelina GOOD LUCK>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You couldn't pay me to watch this fake, weird, home wrecking poor excuse of a woman do or be in anything! I am dismayed that we still report on people with no moral fiber and zero redeeming qualities! Sorry Anderson but I'll be skipping this one!
A very good show. Love Angelina who seems to be a very caring special lady.
I was mesmerized by this show. We have sent seeds, gardening tools, etc. to Bosnia since 2004, I traveled to Sarajevo in 2008 to witness the great work of these reconcilng gardens. Is there any way to write Anderson Cooper, the old-fashioned way? I would like to thank him for airing this show and bringing to light the plight of post-war Bosnia, thank you

Fantastic show!!! I am a passionate supporter and advocate of human rights, humanitarian missions, international aid programs, spreading knowledge about events transpiring the world over, and I have always been very interested in people, culture and foreign affairs. I have immense respect and admiration for Angelina Jolie-- for the person she is and for the work she does. She is dedicated, sincere, and I know for a fact that she does much more than the media and public knows about. I am looking forward to seeing this movie. She should be commended for bringing light and attention to such issues. She is a rare human being, and a great inspiration.
Anderson, I try to watch your show every day, and had the honour and privilege to see today's on Angelina Jolie's directorial debut movie, "In the Land of Blood and Honey". Angelina is not only one of the most beautiful women in the world - she is graceful, modest and beautiful on the inside as well. I was near tears throughout much of today's show. I have a great deal of respect for her huge contribution to film with this movie; and for her efforts towards bringing the plight of women and families everywhere in the world to the forefront. She demonstrates this in her personal life with her children as well. We need more women like Angelina Jolie in our world - and I am grateful to you, Anderson, for your excellent show that brought her to us. I have not seen the film, as it has not appeared in the small town in Alberta, Canada, where I live; and being disabled, I am not able to travel to see it. But if I am ever able to have the opportunity, I would definitely watch this - even if it brings me to tears. Thank you so much for all you do. ~ Julie
I watched Anderson Cooper today while on the treadmill enjoying something that we all take for granted...our freedom. I am so moved by what I saw and heard on the show. I have a daughter-in-law who is from Bosnia and my son's step-mother is also from Bosnia. They both fled to Canada from the war after watching many friends and family perish and losing everything. I cannot even imagine that experience. Thank you Angelina Jolie for many many things you do; and for making this movie with your wonderful cast. I have such respect for the attention you have brought to not only the country of Bosnia, but the many countries you have given focus to. I plan on making a personal change in my own life by becoming more involved with Women for Women. My life is a bowl of cherries compared to millions of women in the world that suffer daily.
This show could not come at a better time.
Thank you!
Watching your program right now, with Angelina Jolie, about her new film on the war in Bosnia. I would just like to thank Angelina and all involved for bringing this little known and seemingly uncared about war to light. I have friends who were in the Canadian Military (and others who worked supporting the Canadian Military) that were involved in this conflict. Like Rwanda and Darfur, most people really don't know the devistation of these wars/genocides. Thank you for bringing this to "our" attention, hopefully it will spark discussion between people and inspire people to get out and try to help in some way. I look forward to seeing this film and Thanks again.

I am so glad that Angelina has done this film on Bosnia. As an American, I KNOW WHERE I WAS, working hard and being an active Blue Star Mom sending care packages to the como team who served General George Casey. Ever since Vietnam, America has been such an indifferent population...divided by those who know about all the wars because they have a loved one serving, while others go on with their lives without a concern. I also love the way Angelina has grown up. She is a flower that is still blooming. Thanks for doing this show. ~Metha
My apologies for autocorrect....
Gaga... My mother is orthodox my dad catholic ... I agree with you on the fact that Serbs were being slaughtered etc... But this is a movie...and our hatred doesn't seem to stop even today with a comment like that. I lost an uncle as he was just plain murdered and left to rot for months before my father found him with the military's help, covered under snow eaten by animals.... Yes Muslims killed him BUT it's the past and I will not be teaching my children who are now 3 years old and 4months old what kind of hatred I grew up in. It's toxic and runs thru our veins. Let's put a stop to it.
I grew up during that horrible war I was 9 when it started and it has marked me and made me a stronger person. I wouldn't wi***** upon my worst enemy. Sitting in an apartment that is empty because my parents had traded all the furniture for food and hearing shooting and bombing on the outside of the walls and windows ****tering....horrible. We came to Canada in July just a few months before it ended in November of 95. I can't wait to see this movie and Rade is an amazing actor. It doesn't show a theatre date in Canada though?
I respect what Angelina Jolie, has done. I'am pretty sure she may not have covered everyone's experience, but she at least tried to show us some of the pain these people had. I visited there just this past June , for spiritual reasons and was very touch by these extrordinary people and their culture. Let us remember we are all human first , then Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, and so on. Thou shall love thy neighbor , is all I have to say .
I was so glad to see focus on what happened in Bosnia. I visited sarejevo two years after the war and the experience changed my life. the stories i encountered will forever haunt me. My father works for USAID and lived in sarejevo for 6yrs. Now he is in Kosovo. Again thank you for a wonderful episode. Stephanie Simon
Hi Anderson --
When I can, I tune into your show on CNN; and have always admired your precise and informative reporting. I rarely watch daytime TV, but I was not feeling well this morning; and happened to tune into your new show.
Today's show with Anjolina Jolie and the cast of "In the Land of Blood and Money" was very telling. I admire all the work she has done in the past, and currently continues to do. Like Oprah, she has been a driving force in making a huge positive impact on the lives of so many people (especially women)living in fear every day of their lives, simply struggling to survive and make a life for themselves and their families. This in itself is a significant achievement , but the fact that Angelina (and so many like her who DO have the potential to get our attention) has made it a priority to educate the public about these issues is also an important and valuable accomplishment.
However, WHERE are the celebrities (or any public figure with influence) when it comes to the people in our own nation? I find it absolutely despicable that 1 in 4 children go to bed hungry every night in the good old USA. There are some small businesses and private individuals making a difference, I myself give what I can when I can to reputable charities -- but WHERE are our actors, sports heroes, and all the other famous people we admire? Hard working Americans, seniors, and innocent children are struggling right here every day. More and more families are homeless. THIS IS AMERICA!!! WHERE are (I will not name the many, many)-- who in the past were so vocal and passionate on important issues? I realize that so many of our icons do have very valuable charities and issues they support, but I would tend to believe that their voices could have a significant influence on the plight of those Americans who -- through NO fault of their own -- now find themselves in a dire economic situation.
I do know that we have an obligation to those who suffer all over the world, but I believe that at this time it is imperative to lend our support and help to our struggling own American population. At this moment, our congressmen cannot -- or rather WILL NOT -- work together for the welfare of the constituents they supposedly represent. As I watched the other night in the movie "Fair Game" -- a true story -- we are told that this IS our country, and if those in power do not take action against injustice; we have the responsibility as US citizens to take an active role in setting things right. We cannot let our fellow Americans in need drown.
I am a former teacher, who at the time; taught at a public school that had a "Follow Through" program that provided breakfast for the children in my kindergarten class -- many of whom would otherwise be hungry. If I am correct, the majority of these programs have been cut. Again, I will reiterate, THIS IS AMERICA!!! 1 in 4 children are hungry every day!! Please use your influence to recruit those who do have the power -- to utilize their voices that may possibly make a difference.
!! We CANNOT allow 1 out every 4 children be hungry.
I implore you to use your influence to recruit our country's celebrities, etc. to use their powerful voices to help those in need right here in America.
Sincerely, Gail Wolfberg
