For Judge Millian: When my mother lost something she would always say: "Tony, Tony look around. Something is lost and must be found!" And it always worked for her...my children still say this, and so do I and things just magically are found!

PS No disrespect to St. Anthony (we are Catholics)

My first too. I love your show, my son thinks you are hilarious with common sense. It's refreshing. Anyway, can you check into www.gofundme.com - this is regarding People setting up websites and saying they are so in so related to someone who was in a life threatening accident and donate for medical bills. The website has no restrictions. They don't get a valid id, or credit card that matches the address... so they have no idea who is getting the money... the money gets dumped into an account of the "person" who set up the site.. This website that makes websites has a PO Box in San Diego as an address... Please help as there is a family being exploited yet again... shut the www.gofundme.com down or at least make them validate who are creating these accounts... and at the very least so the authorities can find where these sick crooks are located.
Thanks You're the bomb.

Oh, yes, I forgot about Milo and the Waiter - that was excellent. The waiter deserves all our thanks! I will bet the waiter never bullied anyone in his life either. Training a child is important. Respect is a large part of the problem in the USA today.

Then there is the fact that "y'all" is beginning to sneak into your vocabulary.

The fast talking black woman - really, is there no one better to interview? Even though she won the Inaugural tickets, I would have passed on putting her on air.

Where has your class gone???

Yes, it is a RIP OFF. But then again, you advertise the "Scientology Book" and "Five Rip Offs" and we have to listen to 30 minutes of nonsense before the interesting issues come on.

You may call that the "6th Rip Off."

Please don't have Judge Marilyn Milian back on the show! Listening to her was like hearing someone scrape their nails across a blackboard! Also, she kept interrupting Anderson.

I don't think Judge Milian is looking at herself honestly. She doesn't look natural. Her face, like others who use Botox, looks frozen from the mouth up. Anderson's lines show character. I hope he never starts on that slippery Botox slope.

I applaud Michael Garcia for not serving those hateful people. If everyone would speak up against cruelty like he did maybe it would stop. People that do things like this need to be shamed.

Funny that this high pressure selling doesn't go on in the men's departments.

Just so you know, a little bit of Candace goes a long way. Time to stop. What ever happened to Marilyn Hagerty?

Hi Anderson; just watched your Jan 22,2013 program.
As a person who has worked in retail sales for more than 25 years I loved the "5 New Retail Rip-Offs." To be honest they are not all that new.

Most recently I worked in a lovely little Christmas store and admit that I would lie to customers. I would claim that I had purchased an item and wouldtell the customer of the positive points of a specific item in order to have them purchase the item.

When I am shopping I am aware of all the tactics and it drives the sales clerks crazy because I tell them everything that they are taught to say when the customer comes through the doors.

First love the show!! And I wanted to comment on your wonderful story about the waiter standing up for Milo. I worked as a waitress many years ago and we had a young lady who was under a special work program at our restaurant and she would have seizures. She did experience one in the middle of the restaurant one day and certain customers were put off by it, it just rubbed me the wrong way and I politely let them know that Joanna was a wonderful person and if it wasn't for her and me(as I know they looked down on me as well because I was a waitress and not a career person like them) they would be a long time getting served. Takes all kinds to make this world and you shouldn't look down on anyone just because they are different. I moved back home just shortly after that and lost touch with Joanna but I know she was very proud of me standing up for her that day!! Again, love the show! Take care.

Was on the man. Staff at Dillard's and all of their sales assoc. have quotas to make and if they don't make them they are let go. If I remember correctly they have a period of 3 months to make it back up before being Lego but always thought it stunk.

I've worked for a big box retail for 5 years now going on 6, and in terms of retail sales people, yes some people who work on commission are like that. But others are genuinely honest about what looks good on customers and what doesn't. I know I am and I work on the support staff and do not particularly deal with sales on a regular basis. I don't think people are as "complex" as the lady on the show made them out to be. I've never met a sales person who said, "Yeah I'm gonna go sucker that person into buying stuff she doesn't need!"

That was disgusting.
I was home from work for lunch, and switched on the TV to see the news at noon on channel 3, our local NBC affiliate.
As it was a few minutes to noon, the prior show was still on, and just as the TV came on, this overly animated, obnoxiously loud, and totally classless black woman was chattering so incessantly that she actually spat gum out of her mouth as she talked. It didn't even slow her down. She continued to prattle on about whatever she was flapping her mouth about, without so much as acting chagrined about being such a slob.

What kind of show is this "Anderson" anyway? Do your guests regularly perform disgusting acts like this? Who was that person, and why was she on TV, with a mouthful of chewing gum, with her mouth open?

Not amusing. Not entertainment. Just NOT.

I am offended by the "How salespeople rip you off" segment.
I worked for the May company for many years selling women's clothing and our number one concern was customer satisfaction. We wanted return customers, so we built a relationship based on trust with them, some even became our friends.
Some customers were downright evil and wore the items, returning them smelling of cigarette smoke and perfume and we smiled and took the items back, on a regular basis, which is probably why we went out of business. The majority of people were wonderful and we never scammed them. When Macy's bought our company, they kept many of our sales staff and when I go into the store, I avoid one particular saleswoman, as she is what we called a "shark", so I guess there is some credence to your story.

Im truly offended with your story on consumer ripoffs.

I own a very small store and we rely on our sales persons to do their very best to make a sale. In order to stay in business we rely on the best sales person we can get to not only sell our products, but we expect them to treat customers the very best, by making them feel welcome, to make them feel good about themselves and my philosophy is to make sure you talk to each and everyone who walks in, because that sales person may have been the only person who has talked to them all day. It may seem like a tactic to make a sale, but it's more then that, its making someone feel good, because you don't know if that person wanted to committ suicide early. So please don't give sales persons a bad name or make it seem like everyone has the same agenda. Even though it may look the same. You make too many generalizations

I love Candace and wish her the best, but kinda getting sick of her on the show. Just don't get the point of it anymore. Its not doing anything to better her business and has nothing to do with BBQ or cooking anymore.
