Perfect Oscar Party Avocado Recipes, and Win a Trip to Hollywood!
On today's show, Cheryl Forberg, a James Beard Award-winning chef and New York Times bestselling author, joined Anderson in-studio to share her top 3 favorite Oscar party recipes.
Cheryl showed Anderson the many ways to enjoy avocados -- in dips, bowls, salads, soup toppers, sandwich spreads and even in your favorite smoothies! Avocados are extremely versatile. You can enjoy this nutrient-rich fruit (lots of good fats) as a stand-alone snack or as part of a variety of delicious recipes. One ounce (or 3 slices) of an avocado has 50 calories and contributes nearly 20 vitamins and minerals, making it a good choice to help meet nutrient needs.
Anderson is not the most skilled cook in the kitchen, but all of these recipes are so easy, even he can make them!

I am trying to enter for the trip to Hollywood, but can't find it. The link above brings me to the avacado site with a trip to Mexico sweepstakes. Can anyone tell me how to enter?
Love Anderson and his show and watch each every day. As a widow of 5 months I don't have to really make a good maeal for just me but know I should but Anderson comes first and his topics are the best. Wish he like me was a better eater Love marg
Love Anderson and his show. He gets so many good people to appear on his show and I really enjoy everything. Since I am now a widow of only 5 months I like Anderson am not a good eater. I am a good cook but hate to do it just for one. I don't need to lose weight so am at a loss as to what to make each night for dinner and since we live in a small town with only one restauran and no deliveery I have to think and think as what to make for one person every night. Lunch is no problem just a good sandwich with pickles on the side and that is my best meal of the day I tell my kids. Keep up the good work with your show Anderson and I will soon settle in to being a widow and learn how to cook for just one. Margaret
I wanted to enter the contest. I LOVE avocados & am going to be making the guacamole from your show for the Oscars. Oscars are a BIG deal in our house. My husband is an actor (and has a "day job.) He has been on "**** van Dyke Diagnosis:Murder" and other TV shows. But hasn't hit the big time even tho' he is approaching 60. He enjoys doing local theater & is always recognized in grocery stores (buying avacados!)
Anyway. I cannot enter this contest. We do not have Cellphones. They are too expensive & we are on a very limited budget. We do not even have a digital camera. My husband has a very old camera that it takes 2 weeks to get the photos developed in our town. Absurd, I know.
Anyway! I LOVE your show. I love your laugh, Anderson. Always makes me laugh. And your topics are important (like hoarding)
