Congratulations to Gayle from Groton, MA, our first "Anderson Live" Artist of the Month!
Gayle tells us she started drawing as a child, one of 12 children in her family. "Luckily, artistic talent runs in my family on both sides," says Gayle. "When the weather was bad, pencils and paper were a very inexpensive way to keep kids busy too!"
Gayle is the lucky winner of an HP ENVY Spectre Ultrabook and an HP ENVY 110 e-All-In-One Printer.

When will the February winner be named?
Great profile of Anderson. It's just unfortunate that color was not used in this particular artwork. In portraiture, color brings out the warmth and character of the person in addition to highlighting those physical traits of the face that so often gives us an insight of that human being. In this portrait, Anderson projects determination and strong will. Gayle sure deserves the tile of "Artist of the month". Congratulations.

I have tried to no avail due to government red tape to get this to our president. I have put no less than 200 hours into it and it is not finished yet. can yo help me get it seen? Please.
