Re: Gun Control - look at the statistics:
Murder rate Detroit Michigan 2010 = 364; 2011= 308Dead.
Murder rate Windsor Ontario 2010 & 2011 = ZERO (yes 2 straight years = ZERO).
Distance Detriot to Windsor? 2 tunnels & 1 bridge less than 1 mile across the Detriot River. Yet a world away in terms of Gun Laws, mental health programs & sanity.

I am ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED by your (and the rest of the American medias') focus/belief that 'video games' are the cause of the absolutely horribly murder of children and adults at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. I just finished watching today's show (DEC 18) and am absolutely mortified! by your philosophy and presentation of things.
If the USA did not ALLOW the possession of 'assault' rifles, this probably would NOT have happened (2nd amendment states that the "the right to bare arms"... but if you look at your Constitution and history this was referring to times of warfare... not generally... forever and ever!... 200 years later!
THIS needs to be your conversation!!!!!!!! NOT VIDEO GAMES (which have seem to be the essence of everything I have heard recently)
Signed a CANADIAN citizen and parent of three children who has cried every day since Friday because I just cannot believe this has happened. So SAD!
