Beauty & Medical Certifications Required to Perform Specific Services

According to the American Board of Plastic Surgery, anyone with a valid medical license can legally perform any kind of medical procedure. A certification with the ABPS is considered an extra credential, as is becoming a specialist in a certain field. 

See the following list of licenses and what procedures and services it covers. If you plan on going under the knife, make sure the doctor is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
