Anderson Cooper, thank you for sharing about devocalization. No other dog or cat (Yes, devocalization is done to cats too.)should have to suffer the way my dog does all because someone didn't want to hear him bark. Devocalization doesn't keep dogs in loving homes. My dog is a good example of that. He was devocalized and then given up anyway. People need to select, care for, and responsibly train their animals, not mutilate them.

People who own dogs that bark loud and proud, often take the stance that it only natural. Meanwhile their neighbors have to suffer for their right to have the dog(s) yapping. Bull! Many places have regulations to quell such behavior. I have owned many dogs. They are like children, they need to be supervised and controlled. I do not believe the animals should be punished or altered.
As far as Snookie, What a waste of humanity. AC You can do better.
