Today's Blogger of the Day is Patrick Gavin, staff writer and videographer for Politico.

About Patrick:
Prior to joining Politico, he edited FishbowlDC.com, a mediabistro.com blog covering media news and gossip in the nation's capital.

He co-authored the Washington Examiner's Yeas & Nays column, documenting the town's power players and behind-the-scenes action.

Gavin got his start in Washington in 2003 at the Brookings Institution, where he served as a writer and media relations officer.

Before he became a Washingtonian, Gavin taught middle school History and English in New Jersey, and attended Trinity College (CT).
