'Anderson Live' Staffers Affected by Hurricane Sandy

Thursday, November 01, 2012 12:44PM

"Anderson Live" staff members face the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, as their homes were flooded and damaged by the storm.

Audience Producer Kelly Brugess phoned in to talk about her tough situation, as her home has been flooded. Brugess, who resides in Broad Channel, NY, told Anderson and co-host Deborah Norville, "People are desperate for answers and they don't know what to do. People are frustrated."

Kelly added that FEMA had been contacted, but it will take three to five days for them to get there. She and her neighbors were instructed to document their losses.

"Anderson Live" director Adam Heydt is also dealing with a tree that fell on top of his home. An engineer assessed the damage and had to cut the tree piece by piece in order to remove it.
