Web Extra with Human Lie Detector Janine Driver
In an "Anderson Live" web exclusive, body language expert Janine Driver, known as the Human Lie Detector, shares more of her insight on reading people's body language, including President Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney during their Presidential debate. Driver talked about the back slap Obama gave to Romney, and explained, "This back slap is a power pose." Driver said Obama "started strong and ended strong with his non-verbal body language."
Janine goes on to talk about a "dominant" handshake pose, how to counter this type of handshake, and how to always position yourself "left of picture" -- because it will make you look more powerful.

I am blown away with your guest, Janine Driver, and your complete lack of respect for Senator McCain. The reason why he held his hands so high in the debate wasn't anxiety, but rather due to the multiple fractures and the crushed shoulder he endured during his time as a Viet Nam POW. Anderson - I saw Human Lie Detector Janine Driver speak at my company recently, Proctor and Gamble, and I was pulled to her electric energy and tips on reading people that I've never heard before. I'm super left-brained and Janine backs up what she says with legit scientific studies, which has turned me into a believer now! I was never one to give "body language" much credibility, until I watched Janine work the room with her easy-to-understand funny delivery.
I follow Janine on Twitter and after she was one your show this past week, I sent her a shout out, she was amazing! She asked her Twitter followers to follow you on Twitter and asked us to send you a note saying what we thought of her appearance. Well, here it is... Janine should be a monthly guest on your show, if not a co-host. She's likable and smart and after I learn her tips and take her advice, I literally feel more empowered and more confident. Great job Anderson, keep having Janine back because I need to know exactly what to say when I confront people who are lying to me. I like that Janine doesn't guess and say person A or person B is a liar, instead, she literally gets them to confess!!!!! How can anyone not want Janine Driver as a friend, she's super cool. My Mom has seen Janine on your show before and told me all about her, so when she was on yesterday, my Mom called me screaming, "Janine Driver is back on Anderson right now! Turn on your TV!!!" I did and wow, I get it! I get why my Mom loves her so much. She's funny, smart, and I've never heard the tips she gives anywhere else - ever. And I'm a psychologist! During the Vice President debate Ryan stuck his tongue way into his cheek when Biden was talking. Biden was on the rebuttal, I believe. That has to mean Biden caught him in a big time lie??? Really what did that mean??? It was like watching your kid caught in a lie. What did it all mean???

Janine is a very smart lady. I always watch when she makes a TV appearance, but especially Anderson Cooper because I feel like they have a good relationship. I think Janine would make a GREAT co-host... just saying!

I always tape Anderson Cooper while I'm at work and I cannot wait to go home today and watch the whole segment with Janine Driver. I've heard her books are really informative so I might just have to go by them and find out for myself.
I was on the show a couple weeks ago when Janine was on the first time and I really enjoyed it. So when I found out she was on again today, I knew I had to watch it. She always brings something new to the table, I love it!
I always make it a point to watch Anderson Live, especially when Janine is on. Her input about the debates is very intriguing. She should put something on her website tomorrow after she watches the debates tonight ;)
Anderson Cooper is the man. And Janine Driver is the woman. I always like when Janine is on the show because she always teaches us something new.
