Body language expert Janine Driver was on today's show and revealed the top ways to catch liars in the act. Janine, known as the Human Lie Detector, also shares eight phrases that liars commonly say. Read this to help you spot a dishonest person in your life!

Well, these are also things I say.. and guess what?..I'm NOT lying when I say them. The problem is, a lot of the time the people your telling these things to, ARE the pathological liars, and since all THEY do is lie, there's no way to convince them that YOUR not. lol. Now, show me the things to say to make people believe you.
I am friends with the most recent ex boyfriend of mine. we broke up in August of last year and when ever I asked him a question like "do you think I smell bad?" He kind of rubs his nose and nostrils. Is that a sign of lying?
We hang out probably once a month...

My wife just accused me of something I did not do and my heart is broken. I knew this would happen to poor ole me. She knows I love her – I’d have to be stupid to do something like that. What kind of person does she think I am? Just ask my friends – they’ll tell you I would never do anything like that. I told her she was stupid to assume I’d do that. Don’t she know that my word is my bond? If you read this comment, I ask you, “Do you think I’m lying to you?”
"I’d have to be stupid to do something like that." Romney pretty much said that when he commented about not taking every tax break he was allowed then on his 1 tax return took only HALF of his allowed deduction for charity.
I love Janine Driver and this article is fascinating to me... However, I'm not sure I believe that all these expressions are used by liars, but I certainly know that if I hear them from this day forward, I'm going to pay attention closely. Janine Driver's advice is always on point. I can't even begin to count the number of times I've heard these phrases from the dishonest people in my life. I wish I knew all of this years ago, but it's great to know now!

I HATE when liars play the victim and say "I knew this was going to happen to me." Of course it's going to if you lie!!! Thank you Janine for making this information public so liars everywhere can be caught red-handed!!
While confronting my ex about him cheating on me, he answered with "what kind of person do you think I am?"... enough said.

This article and Janine's segment yesterday were extremely helpful. I really respect Janine for being a Human Lie Detector because she won't take **** from anyone! I recommend buying her book, "You Can't Lie to Me" to learn more!!
I'm not proud to say that I've absolutely used some of these phrases before to cover something up. It's funny because I didn't even realize it until reading this article. Definitely will not be using those phrases ever again..
I'm afraid my daughter is lying to me about skipping class so hopefully this article will help me catch her, if she is lying.
