Monday, September 24, 2012 12:00PM

After taping with today's co-host, Goldie Hawn, Anderson went to his dressing room to chat with fans in the "Anderson Live" After Show.

If Anderson had children, would he allow them to take a class in pole dancing? What does Anderson do for fitness? Was Goldie Hawn a blast?

These questions and more answered in today's web chat...

I would like to see the entire interview from the Sept. 24th, 2012 episode on the pole dancing issue. Are you able to send this to my email?
With appreciation,

So far Spreecast web exclusives have been my favorite part of the show this season. Regarding pole dancing for kids! #1 little kids are ALL core; #2 Last time I checked, jungle gyms at schools and parks are still around... same thing AND free. So unless the instructor has a degree in pediatric physiology... sorry. Anderson, good to hear you took some TM training; worked wonders for me when initially treated for PTSD years ago. I often wonder how you've been since beating in Egypt. Love David Lynch Foundation; doing so much good. Take good care and thanks for taking extra time with your loyal fans.

what has this world come to....it is not necessary for children to workout much less work out on a pole...no matter how you dress it up children that are exposed to that type of environment will learn that the behavior is ok.....children that have regular play time each day and eat healthy diets do not need extra exercise...please let kids be kids not mini adults

Great show today. Loved seeing Goldie Hawn. Pole dancing as exercise? yes, yes, yes, I can see it becoming an Olympic sport in the future, as soon as they figure out how to score it. If the parents are against it then they shouldn't let their children (girls and boys) take part. There have been pole dancers on America's Got Talent and children are probably trying to do some of those same moves on their own.

I own a pole fitness studio and I will be the first to say that I am unsure where I stand on the subject pf children pole dancing..but my reasons may vary from yours. I don't see anything wrong with the classes as long as they leave out everything sexually orientated about it. However the sexual or sexy-ness of pole dancing is why as an adult woman I fell in love with it to begin with. There was finally something being offered that targeted what every woman wants to feel. However I have watched the pole industry change drastically in the past few years from it's "sexy" stereotype to competitions that are all about the gymnastic ability and contortion flexibility. The sexy appeal of pole is slowing being weeded out...leaving the average woman with no previous gymnastic experience behind. The kids...they don't have any stigma associated with what they are performing in class. You mentioned that you do not see what the use of having this skill is...well...what is the use of having soccer or football or dance or any other skill when such a small percent of people make it to the big leagues...the point is that it's fun, it's physical, it creates determination, and work ethic, and a few of them may grow up and decide to take a job instructing, competing or opening their own studio. Not to mention these children s classes are nothing new in numerous other countries...and the US is falling behind in our own sport because of nothing more than a STIGMA.

First of all, thank you so much for having Goldie Hawn as your co host today. She is amazing. I have been a fan of hers since those Laugh-In days. Now...The only thing I can really say about pole dancing is that it is wonderful exercise. If a mother wants her child to do that for the health benefits I'm all for it. If it's encouraged out of that...not so much. I climbed poles a lot as a kid and never once thought of it as being something other than a challenge the boys gave me to climb as high as I could. HAHA I won by the challenge by the way.

I am 72. We had a pole on the playground when I was in grade school. (kindergarten to 6th grade) We loved climbing it and sliding down. We had no idea we were getting ready for pole dancing! Loved Goldie on the show. She is on of my favorites. Enjoy your show.
