Try Mindful Breathing:
Instinctively, we all know the benefit of taking a few deep breaths during a stressful moment. How many times have we said to ourselves, "Stop, take a deep breath." Stopping what you're doing, focusing on the present and practicing breathing techniques for just a few minutes a day can lead to unimaginable health benefits. Studies show that it decreases psychological distress, illnesses such as colds and headaches and lowers stress levels.

Acts of kindness raise our own optimism, making us happier. Dopamine levels rise in our brains and activate the brain's pleasure centers, so it's a win-win situation. Studies show that doing just five small acts of kindness a week can boost our moods. Side effects of kindness include reduced feelings of depression, increased optimism and greater resilience. It strengthens our immune system and boosts our health.
Number one reason why physical activity is important is that it helps grow the brain and helps improve learning. Physical activity changes the chemicals in the body that support a happy brain, most importantly by releasing natural endorphins. There are physiological changes in the brain and body that support happiness. When we exercise we increase blood flow and oxygen to the brain. And of course, it makes your body healthier.
