I was watching the show today. As a straight older woman, I agree that Jacob's speech at his high school was amazing! He was so well spoken, standing up for his own self and being proud of who he is. Too many of us could not be that well grounded. I am sure that was a proud moment for his parents.
What concerned me, from the first time I heard it was the constant talking in the audience when Jacob was speaking. That was very disrespectful!!!
I wanted to take a moment to say how much I have always liked Anderson. He is a terrific, top notch journalist!!!

Greetings from the city of Manila, Philippines. Iam Sarah, I have been watching Anderson talkshow everyday together with my family even we are from the other side of the globe. We wish to join the Family Dinner Challenge if given a chance. My question is, would it be possible for us to join the challenge since we are very far from the United States? On Tuesday, June 5, 2012, Anderson spoke about scams ~ Well, this one is going to bite him in his back. Last month Anderson during his show had a secret work each day for 10 days to win a car. It went on for one week, I scheduled all of my doctors appts around his show to get the word ~ I am on the job injured worker and recovering from stage 4 breast cancer and sole support of a teenage daughter, 2 service animals and a companion animal. I have lost almost everything due to my unfortunate health issues and my car is constantly breaking down. I am in need of a new car and watched each show and the following week there was no mention of the secret word or car. Was this a scam that Anderson created just to get people to watch? I feel taken.
