After my divorce my focus went to the well-being of my children. Growing up in meager circumstances I always had a goal to give my children more than I had but even more important I wanted to take them places and show them things and build pleasant memories. I used to enjoy planning and executing our adventures. I would always surprise them with trips and activities, always growing in depth and adventure as they got older. I saved the money and began to plan a big trip to Hawaii. The bottom fell out of that situation however when the company I worked for for 16 years made cut backs and I lost my job. I was glad I usually surprised my sons with things I'd planned because I ended up having to use the Hawaii trip money to live on while looking for employment after unemployment money ran out. I gradually lost my home, car, retirement account and most everything I owned as I was unable to secure a job. I applied for any and everything to try to work, to no avail. We were homeless for 2 weeks until the VA helped us find a place. With my focus on trying to find work, my health went down hill and I suffer from circulation problems in my legs, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity. I continue to look for work daily. I worry about not being able to afford to do almost anything with my sons. Even fishing licenses would cost $100 I don't have. We could at least go bike riding if I had a bike (or Trike) that could support me. Here's one that would work. http://living-xl.destinationxl.com/mens-big-and-tall-stor...;jsessionid=F0B6AFC22E289963917CD6C530142646?navAction=push&navCount=4
