My comments come in a little late, but nonetheless, I have this to say. I think beauty pageants should be canceled all together. I've attended some and usually, mums relive their "beauty days" through their children which is not right. It also puts this pressure on kids on the need to be beautiful, so that everyone can approve of them- because that's what beauty pageants do: have judges approve whether one is beautiful or not! The world we live in is tough enough. I know my kids are certainly never going through this.
