Judi Dench Talks About the British and Their Tea
Award-winning actress Judi Dench sat down with Anderson and spoke about the British and their love for tea. "Well, it has to do with the time of day, where we all get [a bit sleepy], and we have to have something to give us a bit of a boost."
Dench laughed, "I could use some right now."

Love Judi Dench, have all her books, many of her movies and tv performnces, and am always entranced by her talent. She is truly the greatest female actor who has ever lived, and I am old enough to say that. Instinctive, she is, and that is rarer than rare.
I LUV Judy Dench in "As Time Goes By", think I've seen almost all the episodes on PBS every Sat. nite!!!
Also looking for hter fave tea, "Tea Spot" Assam tea, I CANNOT find it, please tell me where I can find In Florida USA.

The tea that Judi Dench said she liked. I went to the (Tea Spot) that Anderson said but since I didn't know how to spell the name of the Tea, I couldn't find it by the sound. Could you please let me know the name of the tea Judi Dench's likes.
Thank you, Judy
Dame Judi, I love the characters you and Jeffrey Palmer portrayed on "AS TIME GOES BY". It's a special love that most of us only dream of.
Loved the Judi Dench interview!! She's a delightful person, funny and an excellent actress. I'm a 2 year cancer survivor & absolutely Love her positive attitude. That and good friends is what got me through an EXTREMELY ROUGH time.
As Judi says, you get on with it. I'm also an Assam tea and animal lover. In the past have had 5 Cats at a time who were all strays. Only have two now but miss the others. Never planned on having that many but I loved them all. Can't wait to see her in the India locale movie (can't remember title). Please do more interviews with vintage actresses and actors. Their like a fine wine which add delicious depth and humor
to theater and movies. You and Judi are TOO COOL!!
Dame Judi Dench is a multinational treasure. Thank you for that wonderful interview!
I have lived in America since 1953 and am a tea drinker. I have never been able to understand why Americans make such derogatorty remarks about the English and tea drinking....substitute the word "coffee" for tea and what do you get? An American. Oh....and your dislike of fruit cake, you just never have had good fruit cake....there has to be cake as well as fruit in one. Let's not say anything about so called "English muffins the only likeness to an English muffin is the name.
...

Love, Love, Love Judy Dench !! What a classy lady :) I am originally from India and yes, Assam Tea is the best in the world. As a kid I even lived in Assam ( Dad was a Colonel ) and it is an exotic landscape. Love watching "As time goes by" and going to go was "The exotic Hotel Marigold" this saturday. I think she was also in Airforce One. Bless her, always.
Judi Dench is my hero: bright, beautiful, stylish and funny. A role model for grown up women. And she really should do a clothing line, she always looks great! Dame Judi is " all in"!
