Web Exclusive: Judi Dench on Her Love for Animals
When Anderson told Dame Judi Dench that he heard she was a cat person, Dench replied, "I'm a cat, a dog, a guinea pig, a fish..."
She said her animal family does not get along, exclaiming, "No, certainly not. The dog hates the cats, and whenever she can race and get one by the leg or give them a hard time, she does."
The talented actress, who has been nominated for six Academy Awards, said the theatre is still her greatest love, but said she still considers herself to be "very green" about acting in films. "I've never had a part where I didn't have a surprise in."

Thanks so much for the interview with Dame Judi Dench. She is my all time favortie actress. A true talent. She truly becomes the part she is playing and the viewer simply melts into her performance.
I've been watching her for a couple decades. She first appeared to me on PBS "British comedies." And yes, she does comedy as well as drama!
Wish she had been scheduled for the whole program but I appreciated the interview. It was very well done!

Anderson,I enjoyed your interview with Dame Judy Dench.
Marvellous Actor. She always makes me smile and being British like my husband the language and phrases are always understood in my household. We now have something in common, the sudden loss of husbands. Yes, the stiff upper lip rules in this household too. Life must goes on.
Wished you had her for the whole hour.
I absolutely adore Dame Judi Dench. I had seen her in movies but really didn't pay attention until tuning into the British T.V. show, As Time Goes By, with Geoffrey Palmer. I have watched every episode. I hope she has many more years of entertaining us!
I'm one of a legion of people who adores Judi Dench as an actress and a person. I first saw her years ago as Lady Macbeth with Ian McCallem in the film by the Royal Shakespeare Company. I used it to illustrate the play with my students in a senior high school English class. We were all hooked that very first time, and I used it for many years since it was the best interpretation of the play, in my opinion.
Since that time, I have made a point to see her in anything she does, including numerous repetitions of "As Time Goes By". Long live this fine lady of the stage and screen! Thank you Judi!
I absolutely love Judi Dench. I first saw her on the British Sitcom, As Time Goes By, on our local PDS station on Saturday mornings.
Your interiew was so well done. Would have loved it if she had been on for the whole hour.
Thank you from a faithful viewer.
