Winnie's Dream Wedding Dress Is...

Friday, July 27, 2012 5:00AM

Some of Anderson and the team's favorite segments have been when we help viewers in our "Anderson on Your Side." Anderson recently helped a woman named Danise who was on the verge of bankruptcy after a shady contractor stole all of her money. Thanks to the help of the kind folks at Frigidaire, and Angie from AngiesList.com, Anderson had a huge surprise for Danise -- $10,000 and a new Affinity washer and dryer!

Today, Anderson is reaching out to help women who are facing wedding day disasters.

When Winnie saw her dream dress online, she knew it was the one, but the dress she received was nowhere close to the one she purchased. Instead of elegant white, she saw splashes of sequins and purple paint. After sending the dress back months ago and emailing over ten times, she has yet to receive the correct dress or receive her money back.

Anderson, with the help of Dianne Barbarro from TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress," and the famous bridal shop Kleinfeld Bridal, Winnie received a big surprise. Take a look...

After the show, a limo was waiting to whisk Winnie off to the shop with a budget of $2,500 to find her dream gown.

And the winning dress is....

I think that Winnie looks absoulutly incredible in the chosen dress her husband must be over the moon to have such a stunning wife with such great taste. Good luck to them both. Clea Ormrod. Auckland, New Zealand.

That is the most beautiful dress ever and she made a real beautiful bride. I'm glad you were able to give her the dream dress she deserved.

Did Winnie not insure and send the dress back with a proof of delivery receipt? Even if she was dealing with someone she knew she should have done that. At least if the didn't receive it, as they say, she could have put in an insurance claim and got the price of the gown back.

Gown she got from Kleinfeld's was beautiful, hope her wedding goes well and they have a long and happy marriage.
