I wish that I had seen this show before I got married for the second time. My marriage lasted only 14 months. My new husband criticized me, how I raised my children, how I cooked, cleaned house, my clothes and my friends. He punched a hole in the living room wall because he was jealous of my prom picture. That picture is 30 years old.

Resulting consequences for an individual with contempt of their spouse got me thinking about the influence of a parents contempt on their children. We are no longer affecting only themselves with our attitudes, there must also be a residual effect on others in the presence.
