Hello Anderson, love your show, so interestering to watch about what we want to see and hear on different subjects.

Another great read is THE RISK AGENT, by Ridley Pearson. It is about kidnapping in China. An American owned constuction company is grabbed off the streets of Shanghai in broad daylight. His one - man security deail goes missing as well. They recruit two unique outsiders to do is bidding. Grace Chu, forensic accountant hired to find the money, and John Knox, is a civilian with unparalleled training in both combat and the street culture of Shanghai. It is a nail biting story you cannot put down.

I know you are busy, but you are so well read and so down to earth.

Looking forward to your shows, i program to tape.

Hello Anderson. I work FT, usually daytime, but have caught a bit of your show/program 3x in last couple weeks.

You/your program embody/represent the best aspects, processes and values of professional Social Work. If I were teaching a "Counseling Families and Individuals" course this semester, I would incorporate your show as a case-study component.

You and the processes you use in your interviews are sensitive and sensible, not sensational and glamorous (or divisive), as too often have characterized other similar shows. You clearly present and identify people's problems and life challenges and then yourself, or with the help of appropriate professionals as resources, partialize and make understandable complex psycho-social human issues. Then you offer real, tangible, useful and practical solutions and steps that your participants and viewers are able to learn and use if they so choose.

I encourage you to research and review the core values of Professional Social Work (e.g., check www.naswdc.org or www.cswe.org). If you choose to do so, I hope you will find youself emboldened, affirmed and encouraged.

May you continue your important work, both on your show and in your personal life, of seeking positive human growth, peace and social justice, for individuals, families, communities - both across our nation and around the world.

In the spirit of a great social worker, St. Francis:

I have recently started watching "Anderson" and I love it! I've always thought you were a brilliant journalist, but it's fun to see the personal side of you--I, too, am a picky eater and eat the same things most of the time. My very favorite books are those by Nelson DeMille, recently The Gate House, which is a sequel to the Gold Coast. I also enjoy John Lescroart and Lee Child's Jack Reacher books. Bill Clinton reads these, as well. Thanks for the new show.

My favorite book of the summer is Joel Stein's Man Made: A Stupid Quest for Masculinity. You would get some serious giggle fits reading this. I would love to see you interview him.

Anderson,
I'm 64 and never in a million years did I think I would enjoy books like the Hunger Games. I loved them so that just goes to show that one can enjoy them at young teens, your age and mine.
Love that you are so real,
Linda

Everyone wanting to get a tattoo should read Leviticus 19:28:
"Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord."

I think tattoos are ugly!

As soon as I get some new eyes (glasses) I plan to read the books Dr. Cooper has recommended (see how easy it is to move up in the world), laying all jokes aside I hope to read all the books he suggested. I'll have to get my nanny to read them to me at bedtime. No, my nanny is not Fran Fine. Who knows, it might be a he. One never knows does one, and those who don't know will stay that way, but read Anderson's recommended books!
And if my buddy is gay, he can send me an autographed picture of himself so I can add it to my collection which includes Gospel Singers, etc., not just gay people even though that want hurt a thing.

Anderson Cooper is one of the best comentators on television today; nobody can beat the late Walter Cronkite. However, you are one of my favorite news comentators this side of the Mississippi (ha ha). I don't know what happens to these e-mails, but I would like an autographed picture of you to add to my collection. I'm disabled and that's one of my hobbies. If it can be done, email me and I'll send my address. Go for it Coop!
