Dr. Darlene Powell Garlington was a fabulous guest! What happened to Trayvon Martin is a tragedy. I think Anderson has done a great job in covering the Trayvon Martin case and this show outlined the problem of implicit racism. While we have come a long way, it is so sad that racism is still prevalent in this country. The show saddened me, but Dr. Garlington's comments give me hope that things can change if each of us follows the tips she outlines here for improving racial understanding. I would like to see a show dedicated to how to overcome racism, and hear more from Dr. Darlene Powell Garlington.

Dr. Darlene's commentary is brilliant, insightful and so well presented. What wonderful suggestions! We should all follow her advice. If everyone did, imagine the strides we would take toward racial harmony and understanding.

Please do have Dr. Darlene back on the show as often as possible. We need to see more of her.

GREAT SHOW!! GREAT GUESTS!!! This was a very compelling show. Never thought about how young I was when I first realized there were other races, but Dr. Darlene made a lot of good points in a very short time. We are where we came from. Perhaps there's hope for the next generation especially if some of the "tips" offered are really acted on.

This was one of the most interesting shows I've seen. I have followed the Trayvon Martin case since the beginning and your show was quite informative. The Martin family was quite impressive and it was good to see that they were not getting carried away with the media circus that surrounds this case. While all of your guests were interesting, I would have liked to hear more from Dr. Garlington. She seemed to be very engaging, well spoken, and quite comfortable discussing the racial divide in this country. Her "back stage" comments (which appear only on your website) were quite informative. I wish they had been included on the show because I taped the entire show and would have liked to include her tips and comments.
