Family Lives Off of Seventy Cents a Meal
Watch to see how the idea started...
The family bought about $400 worth of food for the month, plus whatever was found in the back of their pantry and refrigerator, and managed to feed their family of six all month long. Twenty-nine days of the month, divided by 6 people, equals about 70 cents per meal. See how they did it...

My ex-husband and I were horrible about spending money on things we didn't need. Especially at the grocery store. It always became a trip of buying what we wanted not what we needed. Since then I've learned to be a more thrifty shopper. I make a list of things I need before I walk out the front door. I still buy a few things not added to my list but overall, I do really well, save money and don't clog up my closets/cabinets with things I don't need.
I find it easy to spend very little money on things and also coupon ocassionaly. It's pretty simple if you pay attention to sales. Lower priced items, ect. However, don't be afraid to treat yourself to something a little pricey for doing good.
