I listen to WWQQ 101.3 FM every AM in Wilmington NC. I heare a commentabout healthy face skin this morning and wondered if Dr. Gupta has heard of a wonderful new anti-aging night time ONLY wrinkle cream. We are the youngest and fastest growing company to be featured in Success magazine this month and again next month. I would love to know if he is aware of this product!!!

I appreciate the opportunity and would like to say a few words on Dr. Gupta. He is one of admired person on what he deducted and contributed to Haiti’s earth quake a couple years ago. His sacrifice and deduction was amazing; you too Mr. Cooper very admirable what you both done on that incidence.

This is just a short appreciation otherwise has no significant.

Dr. Gupta made reference that taking "red rice yeast"in combination with a diet free of meat, dairy and oils would lower LDL. Online research for Red Rice Yeast is frought with alerts, pros and cons and/or promotions by companies wanting to sell their yeast products. Can Dr. Gupta suggest the name of a reliable red rice yeast product?
My cardiologist has recently suggested that I increase my intake of Atrovastatin (formerly Lipitor) from 10mg daily to 20mg daily which I am reluctant to do because of the inherent side effects. My recent cholesterol ratio is 2.6.
Your response will be greatly appreciated.

Aloha, dear Anderson and Dr.Gupta,

While watching the show yesterday, I was completely amazed at Dr. Gupta's reinforcing his diet recommendation for being healthy, specifically, his recommendation promoting low-fat/no oils. In my own life, I have been able to prove with blood tests and my continued improvements to my health and well being that this advice is not accurate. It is interesting that I wrote to you both before requesting you watch the youtube video: "Enjoy eating your saturated fats, they are good for you."
Donald Miller, cardiac surgeon. Also youtube video: The Oiling of America by Dr. Mary Enig (International Expert on Fats) with Sally Fallon, presenter and book “Heart Frauds” Uncovering the Biggest Health Scam in History by Charles T. McGee, M.D. Are all these doctors that present the reason for our adult diabesity along with children's diabesity insane? I remain baffled... I also love our former President Bill Clinton and it pains me to see him appearing to be less robust. Please, allow him to enjoy a nice healthy grass-fed beefsteak...

Mahalo for your kindness and patience with my inability to accept your recommendation when in my heart and soul I do not agree with your advice...

Mahalo, Kathryn

I have to point out that Dr. Gupta is not correct when he said broccoli has more protein than chicken. Broccoli has about 4.2grams of protein per 100grams and chicken breast has about 23grams of protein per 100grams of chicken. Also, broccoli is not a complete protein with essential amino acids. Experts should really research their topics before they present them to the public.

I wanted to ask the doctor, How do i present skin problems to a PA with a free clinic. I have serious skin issuse and have no medical so i have to go to a free clinic. I have brought up the sours and other skin issues to thes PA.s and i feel they blow me off even though they see it. all they do is refeer me to exspensive doctors i cant afford to see and these skin problems get worse to the point im losing my hearing and my skin is raw and bleeding.

Dear Anderson,
I wanted to ask Mr. Gupta for diet recommendations for someone like my mother; who is 63 and was diagnosed with ALS two years ago...she has been doing very well with natural supplements, physio and such, though after a bout of depression (due to diagnosis) she stopped eating and lost a lot of weight...she believes that she will not gain it back due to what she has been told about ALS and weight loss. Can she afford to diet with no meat, no dairy...?

Also, I wondered how I would fair with such a diet change, as I am breastfeeding my 7 month old daughter? Can Mr.Gupta recommend a process to replace all necessary nutrients in order to make this important change in my life?
I anticipate a response and greatly appreciate the learning opportunities your show provides. Thank you.
Warmly,
Michelle

I am curious about Dr Gupta's comments about lessening meat, dairy and oil. I have been recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and was told to eat more "hard dairy" (i.e. cheese) and meat. And here you are saying don't eat it. How confusing!!! So what am I supposed to do. I should point out that despite my MD saying to eat more of those two I don't really eat more. I tend towards garden salads myself. But it is still such a conflict to what he said.

I saw part of your TV show this afternoon and waited for the doctors mistakes section to be telecast but it didn't happen.

Do you have a video clip of that segment that I could see?
I'm from Canada and am very interested in what the worst and
most common mistakes are that doctors make.

Thank you

Dr. Gupta finally uttered the words I wanted to hear from a doctor! He said that studying a rare case, like the little girl with the skin condition, could bring about a cure for skin cancer and trying to end heart disease through other interventions can work. I have volunteered to be a guinea pig for testing foods and non drug remedies to find cures for a variety of symptoms and diseases, but have been ignored by many doctorswho just want to push drugs. Dr. Gupta, can I be your guinea pig?

I loved Dr. Gupta today. I am worried about my heart. I suffer from panic attack and anxiety disorder and have been stuck in the flight pattern for about two weeks. I don't see my doctor for another two weeks. Is this damaging my heart? Or am I worrying about it too much?

Thanks!

Botox was mentioned on the show today. I just wanted to add that my grandson who has cerebral palsey has been receiving botox injections in the back of his legs on several occassions. This prcedure has been an alternative to bilateral cord release surgery. Which has been done twice on his right leg and once on the left. I swear by the doctors choice of this prcedure it helps a great deal to loosen his muscles and we will conmtinue to use this procedure as long as it helps.
