'Sex and the City' Still Has a Place in Kristin Davis' Heart

Perhaps known best for her role as "Charlotte" in "Sex and the City," Kristin Davis is happy to talk to Anderson about the great relationships she maintains with the three other stars of the show.

"We are pretty much a family at this point. I mean, we've worked together for something really crazy, like 15 years," Kristin says, adding that she went to see her friend Kim Cattrall on Broadway, and recently took her baby for a play date with Sarah Jessica Parker's children. She also plans to see Cynthia Nixon in her new role on Broadway.

Following the wildly popular TV series was, of course, the "Sex and the City" movies. After the first two movies, fans are hungry for more, and Kristin Davis weighs in during her appearance on "Anderson" about whether a third movie is in the works.

"You never know. I mean, I hope so. I have always hoped so," Kristin says. "It's the best job I've ever had. No debate."

Kristin says as far as she knows, there is no script in the works, but she has heard "little ideas here and there," and she says she is keeping her fingers crossed.

After Kristin Davis named her baby daughter Gemma Rose, many "Sex and the City" fans picked up on the fact that "Rose" was the name of her character Charlotte's adopted daughter.

Was this an intentional choice by Kristin?

"I had totally forgotten that on 'Sex and the City' I had had a child named Rose," Kristin says. "Since I did this whole [adoption] thing in secret, I didn't talk to anybody about the naming and I didn't realize the connection."
