Julianne Moore on Jessica Simpson 'More' Magazine Controversy

Wednesday, March 07, 2012 11:13PM

Julianne Moore recently made a comment in "More" Magazine that caused controversy with music star Jessica Simpson after Julianne said that she didn't want her daughter and her daughter's friends "to be interested in Jessica Simpson; I want them to be interested in what's happening in their own lives."

Anderson questions Julianne about her intentions.

"Honestly, I felt genuinely awful about it,' Julianne says. "It has nothing to do with [Jessica] at all… she's a lovely girl. But I just meant that you shouldn't follow anybody else’s narrative but your own."

Julianne says she hopes her daughter can grow up to think for herself. Hear more in the video below.

The full interview with Julianne Moore airs Friday, March 9

Julianne did not slam Jessica. She just said everyone should follow their own path. Why is this even a story? Geez
