'Shark Tank' Success: Daisy Cakes & Talbott Teas

Monday, March 05, 2012 5:13PM

Kim Daisy of Daisy Cakes and Steven Talbott of Talbott Teas are two big fans of the ABC hit show "Shark Tank" -- their products were invested in by the sharks. Barbara Corcoran gave Kim $50,000 for 25% equity in the company. She tells Anderson that in 2010 she sold 2,000 cakes and at the close of 2011, she sold 18,000 cakes.

After a collaborative investment from Kevin O'Leary, Daymond John and Barbara, Steven's producer was acquired by Jamba Juice.

Take a look at their appearance on the show...

enjoyed the show on Friday Aug.3, which included a woman with a business called "Ruffle Buts." She invented & sold ruffled panties for little girls. I tried to find her on the internet at rufflebuts.com, but no luck! How can I contact her to order merchandise?

Just want to say me and my knitting class would really be interested in the LED knitting needles and would also like to see a LED crochet hook. .

Please tell me where I can purchase the baby cushion that has the baby supported in the prone position. This is the Physical therapist who the Sharks gave the start up money to. She said that she had some in production. Thank you

I missed the name of that baby "exerciser" that Sharktank is supporting. The gal is selling it for $39.95 on her web-site. It looks like something I'd maybe purchase for a soon to arrive great-grandbaby. I think it is "biddy ?????"
Thanks
