I saw a recent show when you asked if you should get a tattoo and your co-hostess said "no" and referred to your age. Ironically that same week, at age 56 I got my first tattoo. I had been thinking about doing it for awhile and this was the right time. A person's age should not be a deciding factor. I'm so happy I got it done. I really enjoy watching your show.

Don't tat (ouch). Instead, donate the money you spent on tats to help our returning veterans that have been scared, and children that need to be treated for burns.

Respectfully yours,

JQ

Anderson - I have always wanted to get a tattoo, but I am not sure what I want either. We should go together and have it done. I would love Ami James to do it. I think he is so cool. Great show today. I have to say though, I am so over the Toddlers and Tiara Moms, aren't you? I think it may be time to move on to something else. Just sayin.

Hi Anderson,

I just love your show & I was very interested in the tattoo segment of today's show, February 17, 2012, and I wondered if there would be any tattoos shown like the ones my husband & I have.

After our son, Cameron, passed away in July, 2010 from complications following surgery for a brain tumour we decided that we would like to get memorial tattoos. Since our son had the "Fighting Irishman" tattooed on his right arm we had the same one tattooed on our right arm with his name written under it. When the tattoo artist finished he asked us if our son had been cremated & if so, did we still have his ashes. He then explained that if we wished we could have a second memorial tattoo with some of his ashes mixed with the ink & incorporated into the design. Since we still had Cameron's ashes we decided we liked the idea & now a part of our son will always be with us.

Thank God your tattos were faux, it would have ruined my image of you.

Just read your momn's book "A Mother's Story" it was excellent. I was filled with tears with her last pages.

Who was Andy and she talked about Stan as her older son, I thought she only had you and her brother.

I have 2 tattoos and love them. My husband has over a dozen and we both find them addicting. They are the only thing you can take with you when you die. I do believe as a young female that you should be very careful where you put them. Only for me abnd for my daughter do I belive put them where you can show them when you want to and cover them when you feel the need to.

It is not a sin to have tattoo on flesh skin. I know anyone of you who is bible thumpers who read Lecitivis about this stuff. I do have 3 tattoo on my skin and no regret. It is body art!!!

Do it AC:) Anyone that judges your social standing on your ink is unfortunately not someone you care to surround yourself with. Tattoos are very "personal" things and any person that has one has a story to tell about it, and they'll gladly share it:) I say celebrate it. With your history you should have a full back piece by now:) Tattoos to me are cherished memories of good times and bad and many represent the strength you had to make it through:) Honor the tattoo and the decision. Don't worry about someone judging you because of your ink. My Grandma always said - "God will judge you like no man ever could."
