How Did These Addictions Start?
On Anderson's "The Strangest Addictions Ever" show, he speaks with three guests who are addicted to their car, smelling moth balls or sleeping with a hair dryer. Given the absurdity and intensity of these addictions, Anderson wonders how they began in the first place.
Alicia, who is addicted to smelling mothballs, says that she first started smelling mothballs at her grandmother's house when she was a little girl.
"Unfortunately, my grandmother is not with us anymore, so it does remind me of her and happier times," Alicia says.
Lori has been sleeping with her hair dryer every night since she was young, an addiction she says is rooted in being one of 10 children.
You can watch "My Strange Addiction" on TLC, Sundays at 10/9c.

I'm sure other people must have pointed this out to you. Do you ever watch your show?
A rude thing happens over and over again. A guest may be speaking, and has the audience's interest. She or he also has the home audience engrossed in whatever the problem or situation is.
Suddenly, there is a large WHOOSH. An announcement appears on the screen, detailing the next day's program or guest. I really wish you would discontinue this practice.
