Are These Addictions Real?
It can be hard to believe that some people have addictions as unusual as today’s guests on "Anderson," who are addicted to sleeping with a blow dryer, smelling moth balls, and a car. Anderson is assured that the addictions from which the guests suffer are, in fact, real.
"This is real. I've worked with many addicts and their families, and this is affecting every part of their lives," says Dr. Mike Down, a psychotherapist and addiction recovery expert.
Dr. Mike explains how addictions to drugs and alcohol really aren't so different from the more unusual addictions described on the "Strangest Addictions Ever!" show.

You can watch "My Strange Addiction" on TLC, Sundays at 10/9c.

I don't call that addiction ,the guy with the strange addiction with his car I call that PERVERSION period! he really needs medical attention pronto!
I was really happy to hear you were getting your own show, with all your exposure to events all over the globe I believed your content would be fitting and representative.
Today the girls with the tourette type symptoms was informative and concerning.
As far as the dude with the car attraction....come on. Your show and most notably you are beyond this type of trash. Oh yes, and i always thought myself to have a few more neurons kicking around in my brain.
I usually change the channel when guests of this nature make an appearance.
sorry
