After watching this segment, I'm seriously reconsidering the color scheme in my kitchen - it's currently a light yellow with greens & reds. Many of my friends say the same, that their kitchens are reds or yellows. Thank you for a reason to repaint and to loose those extra, unwanted pounds! P.S. I also turned off the TV today when I ate breakfast & lunch...
I believe your house can make you fat. In our home the first place everyone goes as soon as they walk through the front door in the kitchen. Bags and whatnot are dumped on the counter. Then the fridge door is opened to see what there is to grab and munch on. I like the idea Dawn gave about putting healthier foods up at the eye level. I'm going to try that.
not sure why you gave the rich woman a 1000.00 gift certificate for food and a membership to a gym for a year?? dont you think the couple struggling earlier would have have been more deserving??
It is funny that on your show people are being told to paint their kitchen blue. On two other shows today, people were told that the kitchen should never be blue. their resoning is that blue supposedly slows your metabolism. here it is being said that blue will make you eat less and slower. There has been zero actual scientific research to show that blue makes you eat less even though many diet trick perpetuate this myth. so the real question is, which is right? I think in this case people just have to decide for themselves and paint by what they like.
