that refrigerator segment/tip(s) was the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Seriously...an open pitcher...on the/near the bottom? Where anything cam slip/drop in? Dumb.
Putting things in containers? Where they can't breathe? This promotes rotting.
Again, the drawers are designed to keep things seperate and fresher.
Dumb tips...
Very disappointed.
Aren't the crispers designed to keep fruits and vegetables fresh longer? Most fridges (frost-free) will dry out fruits and vegetables kept in the fridge in the way the 'expert' recommends. I guess wasting food in this way is ok??
Hi Anderson,
In regards to reconfiguring a refrigerator. Milk should never be stored on the door. It should be on the top shelf towards the back.
Also, I don't put my fruits in the refrigerator unless I have cut into them.
Precut fruits and vegetables purchased at Whole Foods or other grocery stores cost significantly more.
Love your personality on the show. Hoping to meet you someday.
Hey Anderson,
Thanks for having breakfast with me every morning-I'm lovin' it! One quick comment about Monday's show: Ditch that beer in your refrig that's been there for "almost a year" Beer does go bad. It's called skunk beer then. Once it loses it freshness, the good qualities fade away. Stale taste and "funkiness" sets in and no one enjoys the skunki flavor. Trust me - I'm Irish. Keep beer no more than a few months for best flavor. The best thing to do is go ahead and drink it. Keeping it for any length of time is ....well that's just wrong. Love the show. Rock on.
