A Positive Pageant Experience

It is easy to watch a show such as "Toddlers & Tiaras" and judge pageant moms and the pageant lifestyle. Today's guests, however, repeat the idea that they don't live in "pageant world," and Alicia insisted that behind the cameras, Laci is well-behaved and benefits from what pageants teach her. For some, a pageant lifestyle has proved to be a completely positive experience.

An 18-year-old audience member discusses her own history with pageants and how they positively influenced her life.

"From this, I have gained so much confidence," the audience member says. "I started my own nonprofit organization for foster children."

The audience member even argues that Wendy's decision to dress Paisley as the prostitute from "Pretty Woman" is not that outrageous, and that in the context of pageants, it makes sense.
